J. Neil Huber L’68 earned a 2023 Law Honors award for his groundbreaking work with the Temporary Study Commission on the Future of the Adirondacks, where he played a pivotal role in reviewing and recommending measures to preserve the Adirondacks and propose regulations for land use in the region. He became the most knowledgeable staff member on regulating private land within the Adirondack Park and most significantly, Neil developed the draft legislation that created the Adirondack Park Agency. Following his work at the Adirondacks, Neil joined Peper Martin Jensen Maichel & Hetlage as a partner, practicing real estate, banking, commercial and corporate law, and has been named a "Super Lawyer" twice, by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters.
