The reason you lost yac em up is because when a WR has their X-factor activated and they get targeted if they don’t catch it the ability gets deactivated instantly
What iv noticed in my career mode I play a running back but for some reason when you make your own route you don't get perfect passes because to the AI QB he's making a quick last decision throw to you but when you run your route you get better passes because he knows where your going maybe that's just me but iv also noticed as a running back if you choose a run play and as you say hike you run to the complete opposite gap (which is ofc when you see the main gap is closed) and you wiggle around in front of your o line in the middle of the run your more likely to get a holding call on your o line, so the game doesn't leave a lot of room for you to make your own quick and smart decisions

I just have to know how everyone else feels about not being able to control the QB!? I literally can’t play superstar mode at all because of it. It’s just not fun. You can still have your own player and even build your own player, it sims for them pretty well. I really hope EA decides to go back to the older style. I want to be able to see the whole field and there are just too many things out of your control with it like this.
