I'm glad you posted. Thanks. I wish next time the editor wouldn't be so stingy, making such short cuts. For example, I'd have liked to see some landings, takeoffs and the Osprey transition from hover to forward flight. Otherwise the photography was good and no hokey music as some add to these vids!
Have been going for years. Always a great time but disappointed they basically have yhe same demos every year. Would love to see the F15 demo, F22 again, B1B, F16 again, perhaps P51 demo, etc. Was bummed to see the F35 all the way at the end and they literally did a high speed pass, min rad turn and vert touchdown. Would be great to see a revamped lineup void of sailplane; bring in Thunderbirds and Blue Angels.
Was stationed there in VF121 when it was NAS Miramar.. Brings back memories
