Also, “Keep Idaho Idaho” is basically just code for “Keep Idaho a red state and don’t let all those Californians moving here ruin it.” Fun fact, one of Ammon's buddies from the Oregon standoff lives across the street from me, and one day we got to see the FBI come pick him up for a conversation. Even if they could afford to take time off, they have to drive up to 1.5 hours to get back to their polling station. My husband works for UPS, those guys don't get to vote very often because they can't get done with their rout on time. I was floored to find out that people in other states vote on all kinds of days. Unfortunately most people don't know what research is or how to do it properly and even if you do sometimes you could be wrong. It depends on your sources. The problem our country is having right now is that people especially far right are getting their "research" from people that are going to tell them what they want to hear not what's true. It's hard to imagine a society that is so modern is so susceptible to confirmation bias. Do you believe Mickey mouse's real? I guarantee you if you Google it you'll find someone that will tell you he is. You can't cherry pick facts and look at the way the Republicans in Florida are dismantling the education system. They're creating kids that are going to be poor and guess what reliant on the government. They're also going to be highly controllable. Instead of doing their own "research"they're just going to watch Fox News and that'll be their research. They won't have to write an essay where they leave references. This generation if they did it would probably just be a-Wikipedia b-Wikipedia c-facebook d-Twitter e-some guy that I met at the bar. Another thing why do people say do your research but they don't have any solutions? What exactly have they been researching? They say that catchphrase just to feel smart and Superior to you when they actually don't know jack s**t. The worst thing out of all of this is when you give valuable information and if they disagree with you they just say fake news. They're not even worth having a conversation with. Their mind is made up when really they're the ones watching the fake news.

He has an idea for taking tax at a sale of a property and not annually. If you own land in Idaho and you don't pay taxes for (3?) years. Your property is auctioned off by this state to pay the tax. I have heard sad stories of people who lost land.
Bundy is simply suggesting that you shouldn't have to pay for land if it is yours.
He is not against services or paying for Government services. He is against citizens being forced to pay for services they do not receive. It is very easy, if you have questions, Bundy will answer them if asked. Bad Little won't take 2 min out of his day for any Idahoan unless he has something to gain personally.

To many people from California who moved here thinking that California was being dumb on how they handle things when they just ended up with almost a 100 billion in surplus while Idaho barely had 1.6 billion. I have to agree, the late night hosts like Trevor and Colbert will give these people a platform for their ratings and lulz which just helps them portray themselves as decent people who just believe in small government. Whereas in reality these people want an America without Black people, Hispanics, Muslims, anybody nonwhite--even if it takes violence to achieve it. It is always what they accuse others of that you have to be wary of, because it tells you what they are thinking about

Too many people cannot afford to take the day off, or have lost their home and don't have the verification necessary to register to vote. You can use a consealed weapons permit but have to have a homeless shelter vouch that you are ACTUALLY homeless. The districts are gerrymandered & mail in ballots aren't counted off they arrive after election day. So even if you tried to vote early since you can't afford time off, the bot wouldn't count if the mail just HAPPENED to go a bit slower in Oct & Nov. Not to mention having only a couple places you have to drive to in order to use a ballot box. This state is too expensive for the residents & the politicians are selling off the land to Texas oil companies. I am sure you know all this, but I'm saying this here in hours that someone knows we aren't all like this! Hang in there, I see you, I hear you. It's kind of genius when he says, "I'll show you right now, on my phone."
Bundy knows you're not going to pour through whatever "evidence" is on his phone to determine its validity. And, he ended up not even stating a source for his allegations.

I think finding common ground is a great way to remind each of us that we are all human. However, for some issues humanity doesn't matter to both sides since one side wants individuals to be the master of their own lives while the other wants to impose the ethics of their imaginary friend on the rest of society because they don't think it's fair that they have to adhere to it and others don't.
