What a HUGE and GUTSY win for the Stars! Especially, after hearing that they flew into Denver during the day and not the night before because of the weather. Wow! The magic number for clinching the Central Division title is 4.

Part of me wants no part of the Avalanche in the playoffs as a Stars fan. Another part of me knows it would be some of the best hockey ever played.

their scouting staff deserve all the praise years after years the choose promising guys and they make sure they develope them well.
Everyone of their top 3 lines could be in the all star game. So much speed, experience and raw talent. Oettinger is on fire too!

Having watched many of the Stars games this year, it is pretty cool to see Tanev on D. The Stars had a great defense before him, but a couple of observations: (1) much faster skater than I expected, and (2) seeing a puck battle behind the Stars net I've caught myself thinking it will lead to a shot on goal -- and then its like, wait, that is Tanev and clattering into him doesn't knock him down. 💪Anything can happen in the playoffs, but wow that guy is good!! 🚜

The only thing that concerns me is the goaltending. Oettinger is not on it at all and hasn't been all season. Offensively, we are stacked, but needing to score 4 goals every game to secure the win is not sustainable

@mikemain180 Eh, marginally. It's pretty difficult to be as bad as he had been, so excuse my negativity in not putting too much emphasis on a slight improvement from the dumpster level he was playing at prior. He needs to step us his game drastically if we are to genuinely contend
Georgie is good for at least 3 softies a game. Absolutely NO rebound control cant kick anything to the corner. I say he sits on the bench till he figures it out.
He wasn't last season. Doesn't help when the Avs don't get anyone in front of him to clear stuff out or let's the other team whack away at Georgie. Could he be better? Sure. But it's a team game for a reason

ЭЭЭЭ.. а в какой из шайб его вина, не подскажешь? Может в 1, когда защитники проспали нападающего и он вышел 1 в 1 с кипером? А может во 2-й когда нападающий звезданутых оказался совершенно один и спокойно, без помех закатил шайбу в ворота? Давай, напрягись и хоть 1 шайбу повесь на Жорика. А вот на кипера далласа можно повесить некоторые шайбы, но у звезданутых защита играла надёжнее, потому они и победили.
@@user-nw9fe9sq3l когда в ворота влетает 6 шайб, определенный процент вины все же есть) А описываешь игровые моменты так, будто это ребенок остался один на один и у него отобрали конфетку и иного исхода будто и быть и не могло.

@@jakedupree7268 Agreed, I couldnt care less about that result.. the 'deserve to in meter' on Money Puck had Dallas as winning 95% of the time.. those type of games are why its so hard to put up huge winning streaks in hockey.. so much puck luck can determine results sometimes.. also an unlucky goals was overturned.. it is what it is..this team looks like an absolute wagon

dallas plays better against good competition as deep as we are the avs seem essential to our spirit being raised. we have to beat them to go far in the playoffs and most times we win a series against em- we go to the finals./ sooo i want them playing a tough team like the avs in the playoffs. not because i think theyll wipe em- but because very few teams are as fun when theyre invested in the series as the stars. and the winner of that series is gonna go all the way to fight in the finals. hell if they beat us then i put the responcibility to win for the west on their shoulders. i dont wanna lose to the eventual losers of the finals- wanna lose to the future stanley cup raisers. atleast if we gotta lose- then let it be because they got the cup. of course its all in year for me i believe in this stars team- they will do some damage and ima watch every minute.

avs are in playoff form
The refs definitely played a role in that loss, but more importantly, this is the Avs STARTING GOALTENDER. Dallas is lucky, no the League is lucky that the Avs have a bad goalie issue. Georgie has earned the disturbingly accurate nickname “Fourviev” because he lets in 4 goals practically every game. The guys confidence is broken and he gets tilted after 1-2 goals. He needs athletic therapy. I like Georgie, I really do, but this is getting hard to watch.
I don’t think the Avs want that number one spot as much as everyone thinks they do.
Avs don't have a goalie issue.. they have a perfectly good.. no.. GREAT backup goalie which the coach refuses to play against these better teams but makes georgiev overworked when he should be resting and resetting before the playoffs!

Boring hockey? Huh? They’ve been swapping spots with Colorado the whole season as the highest scoring team in the league. The only difference is they bolstered their defense at the deadline and Oettinger is playing better.
