- In this video, I talk about my experience as I am about to finish the program. I share my biggest lesson and my perspective on the reason someone might consider enrolling.
Thanks for laying out your journey and the nuances around it, Edson. Appreciate you connecting technical skills to being able to communicate technical concepts. That, to me, is one of the biggest benefits of completed OMSA and being in OMSCS. Best wishes to you for closing out the program and graduating!
Thanks. I have to retake a last class, but after that, I should be ready to focus on something else.
Plan to take that route, it's definitely helpful to know ahead, thanks mate.
No problem 👍
Thank you very much this was helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Congratulations
Thanks
Thank you for sharing your experience! I have been seaching master degree programs, but I felt some difficult to find what is important thing to decide to do it or not. After watched your video, I know that I really want to study about my job and career as a dveloper. And I also need more communication skills technically and to speak exactly from now on. There are lots of points that just looks great on RUclips. But you let me know how can I find the basic rule to find my career path. I am looking for your videos.
The program definitely help with communication. For me, it makes it easier to absorb new material because I have a network of information in my brain and when I am faced with something new, I already have a good foundation. A Master's degree is not really needed to build that network, but it definitely help because you are forced to learn the material regardless you feel like learning or not. Some people have very strong motivation, but for some other people, the structure of a class room is the best way they learn new thing.
The program sounds like a lot of fun, but I wish I could do classes at half the speed. I have too much on my plate now.
It's honestly a sacrifice. It's like going to the gym. I don't know for everybody, but it take some getting used to. But there are some long term reward. Good luck with everything.
