- [Builder's view] Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC '98 Monte-Carlo is in progress.
If you made the door operable, you inevitably had to work on the areas around the door opening, such as the side sill and around the door catch. These areas generally have more complex curves than one might think, making the task quite challenging. Epoxy putty was used for this work.
The composer Takatsugu Wakabayashi, known for creating music for games like "Street Fighter V," anime such as "Dragon Ball Super," and dramas like "The World's Most Amazing Stories," has crafted the BGM for this channel. The BGM "Plastic Dream" plays at the beginning of the video (00:06). It's a wonderfully enchanting piece, so please give it a listen.

Hi Kenji, I'm always impressed with the things you can do with putty. it turns out so smooth, and accurate when you are done with it. Even though I watch you do it, it seems it is impossible to work. On the interior of the door panel is a large round thing with scalloped edges. I've researched it, and can't figure out what it is. Is it just a speaker grill? Anyway, let me know if you can tell me what this is. Thank you for sharing Kenji, and have a great weekend.

I think the gear-like round thing on the inside front of the door is the door window handle.✨

大変な作業の続きですね。
キットを切った貼ったして可動工作をする方というのは、技術レベルもそうですが、対象となる造形物への深い愛情があるのだろうなと感じます。
自分も若い頃はセミスクラッチレベルの工作まではやりましたが、なかなか気力というか、モチベーションが続かず、放置したままのものがありました。
趣味って掛けるコスト度外視だから、愛情が続く限り手間掛けられるんですよねー。
コレを仕事にしている人達ってスゴイなと思います。

Can I ask how and where you mount your camera, is it in front of you or over your shoulder? The angle you film from is really good and makes it Lear to follow. 👍🏻

Your ability to make difficult things look easy always amazes me! Was it water you dipped your spatula tool into when working the epoxy putty? My epoxy putty sticks and pulls apart when working it. I'm a beginner using it.
