"The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" TV Intro

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this opening title sequence before now, but I haven’t. It comes, of course, from the 1984-1985 ITV/Granada Television series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," starring Jeremy Brett as Holmes and David Burke as Dr. John H. Watson.
As I understand it, ITV and Granada continued to adapt Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic Holmes tales through 1994, but later series were broadcast under the names of other short-story collections: "The Return of Sherlock Holmes," "The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes," and "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes." Brett starred in all of them, but Edward Hardwicke took over as Watson beginning in 1986.
