You've taught me a lot about how to blend properly!!! And you've shown me more, than I got shown at school. And more than someone else who's on RUclips!!! Carry on teaching us on here!!!
I really like how you outlined your shadows before hatching. As a beginner, it is really easy to fall into automatic traps. Drawing is a practice that you really do have to use your brain for, and figuring out where you want to place your shadows before actually placing them is one of obvious things which only seem so in hindsight.
The drawing techniques used in this video are: • Hatching • Cross Hatching • Stippling • Circling • Blending • Rendling Here are the answers from the deped module link. You're welcome my dear classmates watching this
q tips are amazing if you don't have a blender, I have used them for various shadings where I want a smooth less patchy kind of artwork and they work miricles
Always have liked subtleties like the light reflection onto the bottom of the ball. It's things like that that we miss, which make art look more realistic, but intimidating to try ourselves. It's all practice and learning and almost anyone can do it if they want to.
After all of these years I have never found an as good tutorial for shading, now I just need to understand the workflow and where to start in an image and end in an image to adjust
I've been told all my life not to use the eraser and don't blend etc. I've always felt like i couldn't really draw, but somehow pretended or something. Now i'm at a point where my drawings are reaching photo realism and i'm very glad i stuck to my bad drawing manners. Never let anyone tell you what is the right way and use what ever you want. I blend with qtips and toiletpaper. The eraser is my best friend lol

Great video. First to need to scetch the correct forms, gestures, proportions. Without these, our work will go to bad. Only the next step is the shadowing. Generally I use the blending method, because it's will give a very smooth transitions. Need to repeat a few times till I gain right values. In the next step, I start to work on texture of the surface. Finally I need to correct some values: Darkening in the deep shadows or add some higlights etc
Hatching,Cross Hatching,Scribling,Steppling,Circling,Blending,Rindering. I dont know the spellings but this helps me so much as an begginer Artist, thank you👍
If you're talking about whilst you're doing the drawing (and accidentally smearing with your hand) just put a bit of tissue under your hand. If you're talking about after you're done with the drawing, you could use fixative but I recommend hair spray as a sealant instead, as it's a lot cheaper and a lot of people have it already.
This is such an excellent video. What kind of paper are you using to draw on? Should I practice this everyday? What number pencil are you using? Thanks!!
Great lesson. Being self-taught artist/observer I now know what the techniques I've been using are called. Pencil (granite & colored). Pen & ink. Just discovered this site! Ur wonderful teachers.
Hello sir thank you so much for this extraordinary explanation but may i know the paper you were drawing on is it canson paper (rough) of soft ordinary paper
Thank u so much sir ..... plz rell me one thing .. can we use any other dark pencil for these shading?... will the other pencils show the same effects? Plz reply!
Hello.... Sir . Its the first time I'm watching you videos and they're useful for me.... I'm a graduated student ...from art class.. it has been 5 years since i passed out. I bought all the drawing materials... I've not touched them from the 1 day till now... I'm losing my all techniques that I've learnt.... i need your guidelines... if it's possible..
Well, the textured ones are used when you need to create the illusion of texture and the non-textured ones are used for the rest? I dunno, I think he did a pretty good job at explaining what you can do with them, and if you're really struggling, just look up the techniques online and you'll see some examples of what you're looking for.
Hi , I had a query The thing is I was trying to purchase your course for the yearly plan but my payment keeps getting rejected. I tried with two different cards but still no success. At first the otp came but I couldn’t proceed after that. Kindly help me with this

Some brushes work better than cotton or any other method I tried.
Yes, small filberts and angled brushes with short and stiff hairs.

I love to draw I use hatching all The time but, I didn't the technical term for it, Thanks!
Thank you for the explanation, I recently started drawing and I’m in love with pencil art, I have a question how can I seal the art so doesn’t smear?
If you're talking about whilst you're doing the drawing (and accidentally smearing with your hand) just put a bit of tissue under your hand. If you're talking about after you're done with the drawing, you could use fixative but I recommend hair spray as a sealant instead, as it's a lot cheaper and a lot of people have it already.
