80s was the last decade of innocence, before it was destroyed by the internet in the 90s. In 80s we lived in the world, enjoyed it. Now the world lives in our heads.
If someone invented a time machine, I'd spend everything I had to go back to the 80's. Such an amazing time. I fully believe the 80's to mid 90's was the peak of Western Civilization. So much came from that time frame. It was just magical. It was really the last time kids had innocence and weren't brainwashed by the internet. Sure we had BBSes but it took intelligence to use them.
I'm from Argentina and I raised in the 90's, and we argentinians enjoy everything USA has to give us, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, Ghost Busters, Lays, Friends, Seinfeld, 90s music, etc. The 90's was a great moment to be a kid.
Today's youth often do not understand why our generation looks back so often, why we miss the past so much. It's really hard to explain. It will be easier to show it...
people don't get it, it was literally the best time to be a kid There is no debate that coming of age in the 80s and high school and college in the 90s will never be beat.
So many great movies. So many great times spent laughing and crying, being hopeful. So many plans and wishes for the future. And here I sent only wanting to go back. It's hard man. It really is.
Why is it that we have a feeling of nostalgia for a simpler time in our lives & experiences that we've experienced or not experienced & wanting a chance to be able to live it differently than before because not everyone got their chance to live it differently than others but it would help those of us to have the chance for their monuments to be able to satisfy this feeling that you get when you listen or watch movies and music just like this video here It's got all those and then some and I know I can't be the only one who feels this way It's perfectly okay to have these feelings of nostalgic but to be able to say that you got to live something close to perfection in life with experiences that you feel you missed out on because of unforeseen circumstances and people that if you can't go back into time to relive those moments you can find a way to do it in the present and it just takes a lot of work and persistence to make this happen and along with a long long list of things that I'm working on this is one of those so please have a heart remember a simpler time in your life and remember those experiences that you got to have and those experiences that you did not because remember we're all unique and we only have one life to live and not everyone gets to control the outcome of their lives when they're younger but to be able to have something close to perfection and the present with these similar nostalgic feelings will be close enough to satisfy and have the feeling of completion thanks for listening have a wonderful day

The only way to do this is to split your soul in 3 pieces and send them into 3 different timelines. The 1st soul will be born in 1963, the 2nd in 1970 and the 3rd in 1977
As someone born in the early 2000s (Gen Z), I'm glad of having watched most of these movies, some of them, like The Addams Family, Wayne's World, Austin Powers, Ms. Doubtfire, The Birdcage, The Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, Rush Hour, Dumb and Dumber, are my favorites, and I just remembered that American Pie (the first one) is from the 90s.

I gotta say, most fan videos on RUclips that are made with songs from The Midnight absolutely suck. But this is probably one of the best if not the best one on RUclips. Great scene variety, killer editing, and awesome pacing/sync with the song. Even the lyric matching was nicely done. Overall, the video was pretty much flawless and put a smile on my face. The 90's was the last truly great decade before social media, and all of this woke PC nonsense made life pretty unbearable. It's good to have a video that brings the nostalgia back. 💯
I grew up in Russia but constantly watched and became interested in everything related to the USA. As a result, American culture is closer and more pleasant to me than Russian. And these films are exactly the era that I just admire. I am already 40 but I have never visited the United States of America, I hope I will be able to visit this country
I have the same feeling. I was born in the 70's, grew up in Poland and in the 80's and 90's I was hungry of everything from culture of USA (especially VHS movies). But paradoxically now I definitely prefer our slavic culture and tradition than current culture trends in USA. 😀

The 80's and 90's were good, but they weren't *great* I can vividly remember going to the school library, spending hours searching through index cards and skim reading countless books, all in an effort to *try* and find info that I can now find in seconds on my phone. Then when I got home I would try and call my crush, hoping her father would not answer the phone ( land line ) or that the phone was not engaged. If I was lucky, I would actually get to speak to her, maybe without someone listening, until someone decided to dial up the internet or send a fax. After that, I may have been able to watch a movie at 8.30pm on one of the three tv channels, complete with ads every 10 minutes or so.
