Just removed mine using this video. The cotter pins in the steering coupler were a royal PITA. Everything else was straight forward. I did leave the control arms, spindles and disc brakes on the beam and lowered solo as a whole unit with floor jack. Thanks for the videos!

my question with the 2"narrowed beam and disc brakes, is there going to be rubbing issues?

If we were to bottom the car out, there would be rubbing issues with the tire against the fender, yes. We set our ride height accordingly so the tires do not rub the fender.

Is there a certain way to align the steering box on a new beam? My old beam had a little locating tab welded onto it the new beam does not. I measured the degree of the steering box with my old band perfectly level and then attached the steering box at the same angle to the new beam before installation. Not sure if this is the correct way or not. Any tips?

This is covered in our upcoming video but it's really quite simple. With the beam in place, and the steering box attached, line up the box with the steering column (on both axis, side to side and angle) bolt on the steering coupler. Double check the alignment and tighten the box down. The steering flex disc will allow some difference in angle.
