I went to a car show a couple of weeks ago, and the retaining clip that holds the pin into the master cylinder brake rod must not have been peened over. The pin fell out and lost my brakes pulling into the show. Luckily, I was only goingn5mph and used hand brake.
Not typically, no. "Universal" calipers (calipers that fit the left or right side of the car) will have two bleeders so the caliper can be used on either side. The upper bleeder is bleed as air bubbles will be at the top.

We've never had any issues with DOT3 on street cars. For more performance oriented cars we run DOT4, after making sure that all the DOT3 fluid has been flushed out.
Nothing online as of yet, we do have our interior restoration DVD which covers the installation of a conversion style headliner, seat upholstery, door panels and the front and rear carpet kits.
No spacers between the two chassis sheet metal panels. Not surprising. But not replacing these important parts is very cheesy. They are there for a good reason. Light torque on two 8mm bolts (not 13mm) to not crush sheet metal... I think one good panic stop will shift your master cylinder and make it loose.
You are correct, the spacers absolutely should be installed. As our car was and is in the process of being restored and not driven regularly, and didn’t have the spacers in when we pulled the original, we couldn’t put them back in. Regardless, the spacers should be installed.

Bleeding the master cylinder is not required?
BENCH bleeding the master is not required, no. The whole brake system does need to be bled like normal.
@@Sam_Mebane This works best with a vacuum pump initially? The two person method has not been effective for me.

I’m putting new front brake drums on my 1963 VW Beetle my question is could I still utilize my old bearings on the new brake drums?
Yes, if the bearings are in good shape absolutely. The hard part is removing the bearing races from the old drums.

Should the vent in the cap be sealed,or capped off to prevent leaks?
The vent has to "vent". Do not block it off.
What type of solvent can I use to clean up brake fluid?
Soap and water will clean up brake fluid, no need for solvents.
