I love Dominique Jackson as Elektra. She is a brilliant actress and just makes the show with her character. I always say that what makes a show really great is how good are the antagonists.

OG here. I didn't know anything about the culture and watching the first show to use it as a learning tool. Found myself DVDing the series! Very well scripted and acting was superb! Looking forward to season 2 also.
MJ is really the heart and soul of the show. It will be weird to eventually not see Blanca because she will pass, but the fact that Blanca/MJ made the show and showed how vulnerable she is, makes the show.
In Globe growing up in New York I know I remember such horrible stories of violence people living a truth and people dying from that so I can appreciate this show very much cuz I understand that their struggle was not easy at all so to survive that and then had to deal with diseases and things like that and just in the groups and groups there were just not just a lot going on so I can appreciate them I applaud them and I'm so happy this story is being told
These women are beautiful I would love to see them in more roles!!! I’m obsessed with Theo show even though I’m soooo late !!! Just started watching and now I want to see all the episodes and learn all the back stories of each character

I knew Hector was a consultant but I didnt know Freddie Pendarvis was too AAAAAHHHH! I ALWAYS LOVED Freddie's vibe!

MY SISTER IS A SURVIVOR OF THAT AND I AM GLAD MY MOTHER HAD HER BACK THROUGH ALL HER STRUGGLES BACK THEN. SHE WAS TRULY BLESSED & SHE IS STILL HERE
