this is a really lengthy comment - you don't have to read it all, but it would mean a lot if you did. btw, i had to write this twice because i accidentally exited the page before i could post it, so i feel this comment isn't as heartfelt as the original. sorry. also sorry its super over the top, but i felt it had to be to express my emotions towards this album. i first came across this album much earlier this year, when the first track of the album, a tornado hits the illies, was randomly recommended to me on youtube. at first, i only clicked on it because i liked the dog on the album cover, and i listened to a little bit, not expecting much. i thought it was pretty cool, but i didn't think much of it at the time. however, the same melody with the low, distorted singing clung to the back of my mind, urging me to remember it. it was about 3 or 4 months later on a late, late night when i finally remembered it, and it suddenly clicked together in some distant part of my brain. i was infatuated with the hauntingly beautiful vocals, and that strange, unique serenity in the tornado siren. i had forgotten where i had heard it, all i remembered was a white dog in the snow. that night i silently vowed that i wouldn't rest until i had found it, and i don't think i could've rested regardless. i dedicated the rest of my night to finding it, spending ~3 or 4 hours just mindlessly scrolling through my youtube history, then suddenly, there it was - that very same white dog in the snow. i had almost missed it, i was scrolling so fast. but that night, i listened, and i cried, probably from a mixture of relief from clearing my mind by finally finding the album which was haunting it, and the sheer beauty and emotion behind every lyric of every track. i listened to the entire album that night, and i finally slept soundly, truly happy. i'm writing this on a very late night - it's 6am rn - not much unlike the night which i found the album on. tomorrow morning, i will begin listening to every album you have created thus far, beginning with i'll be okay - sign crushes motorist. i don't think i can really grasp or even put into words how powerful and meaningful this album is (massive understatement). it may seem that your work goes unnoticed, but please know that there are so many of us that love your work. i don't know if this comment will mean anything to you - i'm just one commenter, after all - but i want you to know just how much this album means to me. thank you so, so much for creating these masterpieces.

was ight cool vibes ending is sad and turns into earrape noise rock album feels like a mix of those 2 albums where they say it is what it feels like to get dementia and that other one from the guy who’s wife died of cancer. vocals slightly over distorted for my personal replay-ability. cool record tho
19:36 this was the best one in my opinion. It not only makes you feel like a downer when you’re depressed, but it also makes you feel like you can just lay in bed and have peace for the next 8 hours or so you go to sleep.
found this album back in early august last year and i'm coming back just to say i'm real proud of you for getting as far as you have in the time i've been listening. i stumbled across it in my youtube recommended, only 40-50 or so views at the time? the album cover reminded me of an old friend of mine, as does the music. i sat down and decided to listen and hearing boyhood for the first time made me feel such a specific way, i don't think i could entirely put it into words. i remember going on a little hunt to find all of your projects on spotify almost right after i'd finished listening to this album. all of which i loved and immediately added to my playlists. this album, though, has stuck with me the most. oftentimes i'll find myself getting lost at night drawing or writing and boyhood (my favourite song of yours !) will be playing in the background, that or something off of one of your many other projects. i can't wait to see where you go this year as an artist and just wanted to thank you as a supporter for putting your work out there. especially considering the raw nature of your works, it takes a lot of courage. i'm sorry for the lengthy comment and i'm excited to see what else you have in store !! : ]
