what if you strip mine but only on chunk borders just disregard the center of the chunks and dig lines through the intersections at diamond level like at Y: -57
haven't tried your method yet by my method only turned up a ton of iron not diamonds. after 30 min of mining straight i got 3 stacks of iron and 38 diamonds. I was using Fortune 3 ofc and an efficiency 5 diamond pick. tbh cant be bothered rn to go get netherite yet. ill probnably try your method for diamonds but i dont feel like making an iron farm in this world so i may use this method for iron

Netherite spawns at chunk borders so it would make sense that diamonds do as well, I'll definitely use this method next time I'm in need of them :)
