We didn't mention the ''Road to REBiRTH'' DJ Contest where Dual Damage competed and won a Spot on the Mainstage because of that. We only heard about this now thanks to the 2 people who informed us about this in the comments section.
1:42 ⚠️ Due to a file-naming mistake made during editing stages of this project, the 2024 line-up of GetWrecked ended up in this place instead of just the event Logo.
They actually got added to the Reborn Raw stage at Rebirth and not the mainstage. They did compete in the dj contest, but Rebirth festival decided to put them on a bigger stage because of the populairity of them.
Also at Intents Festival they were playing at the Boombox at first (the talent stage, for around 200 people max). But there was so much commotion around them being there instead of the Fanaticz stage that they got moved to there. And they even got to play 3 times. First with Aversion, second at the camping stage and lastly solo. You are missing a big part of their story.

Yeah, I think rebirth set the stepping stones for them. Because of how packed rebirth was too, Intents had to get em on a bigger stage. I was at the campsite and heard their remixes so many times at intents.
Fun fact: Hiding was actually supposed to be released on Carbon (the talent label at the time, what now NEXXUS is). But since the boys were gaining popularity so hard it felt wrong to have Hiding be released on Carbon so we had it released on our main label instead! Great video!

Cannot dance to ADHD 5second melodies with 20 breaks between songs. Even my favourite Hard Driver is using the static 50-60hz BZZZZZ BZZZZZ BZZZZZ kicks in some tracks 😡 It sounds SHIT in a car with a loud subwoofer, has no crispyness but only muddy noise 💀

I was at one of the First Dual Damage bookings at Warface bday bash, there were maybe 60 people in area 2😂 and now the boys play all the big festivals big W

I found out about Dual damage about a year ago and ever since I have been hooked to their music. Their sound is so impactful I cannot get enough of it!

Ich bin sicher ihr habt schon viele eigene Ideen aber ich fänds zb cool zum Ende des Jahres sowas wie ne kleine "Preisverleihung" zu machen sprich die beste Melodie, beste Kick & Kickroll, bester Track insgesamt, beste Artists etc. des Jahres zu besprechen/ranken. Das wäre interessant und gäbe dann denke ich auch gut Engagement weil Leute natürlich ihre eigenen Rankings kommentieren wollen. Nur so ne Idee, bin kein RUclipsr oder so. Hab aber echt Bock auf den channel und bin mal gespannt was hier noch so kommt :)
@@HardstyleHubTV musik 12/10 schade das die stage nicht funkltioniert hat deswegen nur 5/10 insgesamt , bisschen zu voll auch. aber insgesamt solide 7/10 für mich, supremacy hat mir geschriebn das es wegen sicherheit UND technischen problem war, das die bühne nicht vorgefahren ist. hab auch techniker dran rumklettern sehen.
Wir haben da in diese ''Preis Verleihung'' Idee auch schon etwas im Kopf, aber halt ohne Trophäen und das fancy zeug, da fehlen uns Buget und Connections xD

I appreciate dual damage a lot and the new concepts they brought to the scene, yet i miss the music of Backfire. He had a strong identity felt throughout all of his tracks and he was really good at making moving tracks while still keeping strong drops and powerful kicks. It was by far one of the most promising producer in the scene. I wish him the best with dual damage tho

Timmy Trumpet opened his EDC 2024 set the same way with the same song, playing it right after the intro lmao. He is definitely a dual damage enjoyer! His entire EDC set this year was like 50% hardstyle it seemed like, so he isn't lying about how he loves it! Also, great video! Keep it up! :D

Dont forget how dual damage had there debut at rebirth festival on the reborn raw stage and were still gonna play in the boombox at intents, and online everyone started complaining that the massive audiance there was at rebirth would never fit in the boombox so dual damage got 3 day at intents that year

Imagine being a silly American listening to porter robbinson and you hear Raw for the first time, let alone Dual Damage right away.
This gymbro tiktok bullshit has to go. We've already gone from long track and set format to absolute breadcrumbs not to mention the total brainrot that is the sound itself.
1) Da tweekaz plays soft hardstyle at mainstage and in 2019 start playing uptempo or harder song in the end of the set. Armin in 2019 do the same at the end by playing hardstyle. But herder like this is new and is cool to see some face of people that are in the mainstage that dosen't understand that music at all. Trance (especially in italy), Hardcore, Frenchcore are the less listened music genre of edm and i don't know why (except in belgium, holland for hardcore and french core and trance (england also trance))
They are the most humble, down to earth celebrities I've ever met.

As I harderstyles lover since 2005 I l little don't understand a lot of kicks in one drop and thousand kickrolls. I have the impression that DD will appear from space powered by the internet (tiktock/insta). They have collab with most stars like Rebelion... Kicks and anticlimaxes everywhere... What's next with HS?...
We are Fans of the Modern Hard/Rawstyle but we do recognize and also love to listen to classics sometimes.
In the End tastes are always different and people's opinions will not be the same.
Unpopular opinion: Imo they destroyed the beauty of Hardstyle/Rawstyle. Not saying their songs are bad, just overused samples(since everyone nowadays uses the same gated kicks) and little emotions.
Unpopular opinion for a reason because it's not true, you can clearly hear the evolution of Dual Damage kicks over the years, from the first Backfire releases to present day Dual Damage tracks.
@@HardstyleHubTV as said, I don't say their songs are bad. I mean the overall style they introduced into the genre with gated high pitch kicks. Pvc kicks of course are unique and i liked them when they first made them too. I just noticed since Dual damage became big i couldn't listen to rawstyle anymore because there was just too little uniqueness in the scene. Obviously that's a personal opinion. I'm not hating on them, i enjoy new inovative stuff. Just feels like there is a lot of same sounding stuff out there nowadays, not being able to identify the artist..(i am mostly talking about the higher pitched gated part of them). Maybe i'm just swimming in the nostalgia ocean
Hint; DD played also on Malice in Wonderland on the 4. March 2023 as the first act. I rushed into AFAS Live just to see the guys for the first time. So Intens wasen't the first festival outside of theyr own events.

actually Zelecter won, but Rebirth realized the huge demand for Dual Damage and gave them a spot at Reborn Raw
they might have won but didn't play at the mainstage in '23, It was the Reborn Raw stage they played at. This year they played at the Main.

They made the raw scene worse in my opinion, everyone is using these shit pvc kicks now, nice for them that they are so populair but for me the real rawstyle are names like Unresolved, Rejecta Regain polish punisher…
Maybe worse in your opinion, but we would say more diverse.
Dont get me wrong theres nothing wrong with rawstyle, but after half an hour it just gets boring af its al the same. Just kloenk kloen kloenk and thats it, rawstyle and piepkicks becoming more populair really be ruining the festival scene.
To you it might sound the same, but every track sounds unique to me. I think the same thing about the ''Spoontech'' Raw, but that's just because I don't really listen to that side of Raw often.

'Hardstyle slowly breaking through the mainstream'
This is something the new generation would say and not very familiar with the scene 10 years ago, and I believe the channel is made by someone who recently entered the scene
In 2012 there wasn't Hardwell playing hardstyle at Tomorrowland. Thing done in 2018 with the remix with Sephyx of Everytime we touch.
Now it's breaking through everywhere. We have W&W x Sub Zero Project.
Timmy trumpet, in few years maybe we'll see david guetta lol there is still hope.

Short answer: TikTok and the rise of celebrating obnoxious sounds.
More like: rapid innovations within the scene, which created a more diverse selection that attracted more people, so there now is something for everyone :D
@@HardstyleHubTV It is diverse, yes but for odd reasons imo. The focus group changed as well as the purpose of Raw. It's all about trolling and a quick shock effect for social media. This caught on and became the norm, while song writing and production value went down. Just compare their sound to Wildstylez or Zatox for instance. Dual Damage sound amateurish in comparison. However, this doesn't matter as the new audience adores this style.

I honestly still don't get it with Hardstyle. The bass in Hardstyle Tracks is always not hitting and you can't really dance to it also.
I dont know how much you listen to it, or have ever been to a hardstyle party? But sometimes it has to 'click' at some point, and from that point on you're hooked. I recommend to go to a hardstyle party, honestly one of the best vibes in the world. And there are not really advanced dances except for the Melbourne Shuffle. But it's really really fun to klaplong with your friends (which is relatively easy to do). Furthermore you can do "stampen" "hakken". Or just jump around and bump your first !
