the only thing this album is missing is monkey's in balls being flung around at high speeds through abstract geometry in abstract worlds. Good stuff man. As someone who wants to make music like this some day, how do you even get started

yeah i also think it should have had something like that. and about your question of how to get started, i'd recommend to start with the basics and do simple stuff. there are a lot of tutorials out there on how to make drum and bass or literally any kind of electronic music. they can teach you a lot of simple production and mixing techniques that are used and can be applied to whatever program you use. and then you just have to sit and try to do something, alongside the things you have learned. once you think that you have made something you consider interesting, then start experimenting by yourself with the tools you have, and find ways you can make your music kind of unique, or something you have never heard. with each thing you make, try to do something better than before, and think about it as a giant step on what your goal is. these are the things that have worked for me. i hope i have been helpful or at least given you some motivation. good luck
