Wrote this album over the summer, heavily inspired by dreamcast/psx era dnb and breaks. Also inspired by early 2000's IDM. Used some old samplers and synths that were used to make Phantasy Star Online OST back in the day.

It's something about this music that gives me the same vibes as watching the imaginary ninja guy run along the wires of the telephone poles as you ride in the backseat of a car.
Thanks for being here and checking out the tunes!!!!
I have the exact feeling
Whats the name of that game? I used to play that game everyday in middle school computer class
Damn, bro.
That sounds like a childhood I was never even creative enough to have.
@@corteztheplug Not suuure. I used to play this typing game in middle school tho. It was actually kinda wild. It would splice animals together wrong if you typed wrong lmao.
Wait you MADE this? This whole album? Damn. Well done. It's so new and unique but I'm already entranced and feel such familiarity. The PSX era is captured so well it gives a sense of nostalgia even on the first listen. Thank you for being creative, please never stop. Personally, I adore this entire album.

This feels like a serious world famous producer working under a pseudonym. Are you telling me this kind of talent just shows up one day, fully formed??
Not a famous producer but been producing for quite awhile!! haha

Holy shit, I thought this was just a compilation dnb / jungle playlist of random songs. You actually made this ? Fuuuuuuuuck, hats off to you , the algorithm wins again. Well said, I got the same surprise! Great tracks and such an impressive variety

Chill and airy, not overly busy with samples. Right amount of stimulation and calmness. Perfect work background music.

I can barely express my passion for this album. Since I discovered it at the beginning of the year, listening to it over and over, it has been synonymous of beauty, tranquility, passion and dreams. Aquatic Heaven Simulator kills - I LOVE this song as much as Hearth Breaks 2005 (Saved Ver.), which brings to my heart such a beautiful feeling...

So. Halfway through Aquatic Heaven simulator, I stood up, put my coat on, left my dorm room, took the subway across town (while listening to your album) to grab my good headphones back at my friend's place. Then I came all the way back to my dorm room (while listening to your album a second time) and finally, here I am listening to it right now a third time, my ears enveloped by warm liquid honey sound.☺ This is the best. Very intricate work. Thank you!

That's because it's Drum and Bass and not Breakcore lol
@@docboy989 You're right, but from wikipedia on breakcore: "2020s revival
In the 2020s breakcore underwent a revival, bringing with it a noticeably different sound than the music produced in the 1990s and 2000s. According to Bandcamp Daily writer James Gui, 2020s breakcore is nostalgic, atmospheric, and sentimental, and grew out of the digital hardcore scene of the 2010s. It is accompanied by an aesthetic that draws from video games, anime, and internet culture with artists such as Machine Girl, Sewerslvt, and Goreshit being influential to the revival's aesthetic and sound.[13] Many fans of earlier breakcore consider this revival to be a separate genre, closer in spirit to ambient music or drum and bass."
"breakcore is atmospheric" lol
@@dhjerth It doesn't really matter at this point, but if we are being true to it then Wikipedia is just wrong here. It's not a "breakcore revival" because the genre really doesn't have much to do with breakcore other than having breaks (that aren't at all chopped and processed like in breakcore), but lots of genres also use breaks, so are all of them "breakcore"? It's more of a revival of the name "breakcore" because it was wrongly used by another genre that recently blew up. Actually a ton of subgenres have names that were picked up because it sounded cool or catchy but the name itself doesn't really have much to do with the genre, and when it spreads it's very hard to undo it.
@@Worr. It's like what happened to dubstep. Breakcore means two different things now. Sort of annoying when looking for the old breakcore. Wouldn't say wikipedia is wrong, words mean what people mean, although "revival" is a bit of a stretch.
ngl i at fist thought this was one of those plunderphonics channels, but after listening to it just once and confirming that it's originally produced im lowkey astounded. I've been listening to this for the past month or so and I think this just might be the best Jungle album I've ever heard. So much emotion within sonic landscapes that make me feel like I'm zooming across them at the speed of sound yet still remain intimate with. Well balanced of the speed time of the drums in the songs - they don't overstay and bang into your eardrums like so many DnB songs. Incredible effort!!! Thank you for uploading this I can't wait for your next album, if you explore new sounds with the same amount of love I'm sure it'll be an even bigger success!!

I have some old hardware digital synths, they were actually used heavily by Sega back in the day. I'm glad you picked up on that! I went out of my way to buy those specific synths/romplers! That was my main goal for sure, to capture that sound but in an authentic way (not just use VSTs and just my PC). Not knocking that work flow but for this specific album it was important I capture a certain essence.

Reading the description feels like a validation of what I feel like I have been feeling about this set of genres.
If you will allow me to ramble (quite a bit mind you); I came across this type of music some months ago. Like many who have said this before; I recalled how it made me feel nostalgic. And it reminded of what my memories of the 2000s was like to me; specifically what I remember the music of that era being like from my OWN memories. I think of it has two camps: Red and Blue.
Red for all the rock/rap of that time. They all had that like rad/awesome/attitude vibe to them; that it was all about taking on the world. And for the most part, it made sense. The shift what was being shown in media was one of those "pushing boundaries" that was being carried over from the 90s. So it always about being in your face; something I feel like you saw a lot of in commercials. But that was for stuff only for the daytime; when it came to nighttime; that's where the Blue comes in.
Blue always felt like the electronic/techno side of music. That mysterious/beautifully haunting/ethereal feel you get at night; especially when you only have your thoughts to sit with you. Where the daytime was for people to shine; night time was for the world to shine. That uninterrupted flow of the world just existing. Like, I've been for a while now watching old recordings of tv broadcasting; specifically those of adult swim. And yeah, a lot of the time it's music that feels like its asking you to just sit there and breathe. Maybe its also because the 2000s was also the turn of the century that it also made that advancement in technology that we also got such experimental media. This type of music is what I think about whenever I look at my PS2. Just that "here's this other world we're gonna show you; it's secrets and beauties that it holds." It always felt like it was someone trying to make you think, to imagine.
Right now I listen to this album whenever I edit since I tend to do so late at night, and it always keeps me in a peaceful state. Just helps me keep my creative process going. So to make this long ramble close up now, thanks for making such a great album. I definitely plan to keep up with your stuff.
I love your appreciation of music and the night / day trope you described. Especially the way you describe a type of music asking you to just sit there and appreciate the moment. You're right, electronic music perfectly met a new wave of video games and technologies promising a genuine 'simulation' never experienced before. The atmosphere was really important, electronica was synonymous with immersion, like entering a virtual club. This Jungle revival on youtube had me rediscovering the early 2000s 'Soft Club' (Jungle, Breakbeat, Abstract Hip Hop, Trip Hop...). This whole scene impacted me a lot and was somewhat of a bridge with the previous gen. also into electronic music.
Right! I read what you wrote and I do agree with you. Day time was a vibe and night time was entirely different type of media. I feel like for us in the west, when the JRPG boom happened. We got exposed to some eastern philosophies and spirituality. I think that really left an impression, especially on me personally as i was about 10 towards the end of the 90s and I became a teen in the mid 2000's. The adult swim bumps were great, they exposed us to a bunch of artists that at the time weren't widely known, before it was super easy to just find whatever you wanted online. I have always loved the night time, not a huge fan of the day time. I remember hearing electronic music on the radio late at night when I was like 11 and being fascinated by it. I'm glad you are enjoying my music. I think through this music I am trying to explore my own spirituality in a completely unbiased way... or at least I am trying to be unbiased. I'm fairly isolated as I work from home (I do IT) and I think that isolation is allowing me to open up and feel in a way that I wouldn't be able to if I was caught in the energy/hustle and bustle of the outside world. Thanks so much for being here and accompanying me on the journey!
@@Dusqk For sure! Seems like everyone else also feels the same seeing as the amount of dnb/jungle/breakcore uploads from either the original composer or a compilation vid have an anime/anime-adjacent art style to it. And I feel like you REALLY captured that vibe a lot. Aquatic Heaven Simulator sounds like the type of song I'd hear in some obscure JRPG in one of the menu screens. Like, very much what I imagine the save point music would be. Wellness Spring, no lie, sounds like something I would hear out of Ghost in the Shell S.A.C Feels like what would play when they would show like digital info in a physical matter(if that makes sense). Of course yeah, the night time vibes are there. Though I will say that another reason why I love this music is because it appeals to me who is a pluviophile.
Basically somone who loves the rain. It's the type of music that I would love to listen to, looking out the window watching rain fall at either that early morning time where the sky still has that blue tint or at night where the lights of lamp posts and buildings cut through the air. It's the the type of feel I think about from racing games that had you drive during night levels through the city with all lights shining. Its all just so cathartic.
To say the least though, I totally get what you mean about the serenity of night time over day time and the exposure we got from Japanese media. To not go TOO deep about myself, I remember how much of my upbringing was the case of having expectations put on me; rules and a lifestyle that I never asked if I wanted it to begin with. So when night came around it felt like a relief; where there was no one around to remind me of the person I was expected to be. And when a close friend of mine would be the guy who exposed me to both anime and JRPGs; it was that moment where I felt my core open to who I truly was. So to see that this album is the byproduct of you in isolation at night; then I'm surely looking forward to the next project.
@@midnightcenter6069 I totally get you on the expectations thing. Also yes, looking back when I was actually getting influenced by the JRPGs etc. My friend and I would be locked away in his basement, we started a punk band together. We'd be jamming out and making music and then playing JRPGs in between. We were very young, pre teen early teens. So ironically at the time of influence, I thought the game music was super rad, always loved it. But we were interested in just LOUD, heavy and offending everyone HAHA. I am very grateful for that childhood. I really appreciate you talking with me and also describing how the album makes you feel. Means a lot to me. Thanks so much.

Wow! Been a bit since I've heard a complete electronic album this good. The strong early 2000s Phantasy Star Online vibe definitely comes through. Really nostalgic for that time... I remember playing PSO on Dreamcast at release and it was mindblowing to be able to play with Japanese gamers, online, on a game console. PSO was the first console game I remember where that was possible. I'm also getting some Unreal Tournament '99 vibes too? My favorite track was Heart Breaks 2005, the vocal sample gives it an ethereal feeling. Very nostalgic listening to this, like I was transported back to that early 2000s era. It feels like forever ago. The world feels so much more hostile and isolating now.
This album would make a killer soundtrack to a bullet hell game too.
If I have one criticism of this album, it would be that some tracks start and end abruptly. I think this album would be even better if it were reworked as a continuous mix, where each track seamlessly flows into the next one. That way you could really get into the flow-state vibe that this album is going for. I would be super excited to see what you can do when working with a guest vocalist - some beautiful vocals would really take this to the next level. Will look forward to your music in the future!
Amazing work, one can really feel the ethereal inspiration
Thanks so much. I'm glad you picked up on that. On the surface level it is 2000s inspired breaks but the album does have a meaning that goes beyond that. Appreciate you.
This album is a whole masterpiece, its so beautiful. I love that it has the old styles mixed in and that so incredible. I love it
Thanks so much for the kind words. I def try to keep things a bit on the chilly side! Also thanks so much for your time and going out of your way to visit my RUclips!
Dude this mix sounds so clean and crisp it’s almost like it’s new gen audio production
Thanks so much! I definitely take a lot of time to mix. Appreciate you listening and for the kind words!
Amazing composition, I'm impressed you nailed the exact vibe of the era.
Keep the good work, I love this album.
Thanks so much. Super glad you are enjoying it!
What the hell! There is no reason for this to make me soooo emotional, motivated, nostalgic, driven, happy, sad, anxious and excited. All simultaneously and at different occasions!
You are amazing and definitely found something that the world needs more of! I will happily be following your journey and excited for more of your music.
Thank you so much. I am really happy this is having a positive effect on your day. Appreciate you!
beautiful stuff. i've been looking for people to give new twists on the dreamcast style of music, and this does it remarkably. i'm looking forward to seeing what kind of new stuff you make!
Hey, I really appreciate the listen and kind words! Yes, I went out of my way to get the gear that was used on those games back in the 90s! :)
I listen to a lot of DNB mixes on RUclips while I work, but as soon as I got to the chord progression on Gods Garden, I knew this project was special. Been on repeat for me all day!
I'm super happy you are enjoying the album! Thank you!
Wandered, lost in a sea of compilation videos and I found treasure. This is so good!
Glad to have you here! Thanks for listening!
After reading this description!! I have not even listened to it yet. But everything you listed is my whole zone! Especially the PSO/PSU sound font! I am actually going to consume this whole album tonight when I get home!! So excited and thank you so much!

Thanks so much for listening to the tunes. Appreciate you!
I saw this and I thought it was one of those mixes of game music I listen while working, but no, this is a whole original album. kudos I'm loving it
Thanks so much. Appreciate you listening!
Added this album and favorited it and you on iTunes. Also subscribed here. Please don't stop making these. This is the cleanest/smoothest D&B I've ever heard. Perfect tempo, perfect mixing, perfect composition. 6/5 stars. Do you have a main channel/name? There's no way this is your first set, it's highly refined.
Thanks so much. I really appreciate this, i put a lot of care into the mixes. I've worked on another projects but not in this style. Also I am coming back from a 5 year hiatus. Again man, thanks so much for the support. If you ever wanna chat you can hit me up on instagram!
