@@garymartin1040 The SEALs I KNEW during the Vietnam War were nothing short of a stateside gang who were "tough" when they out-numbered you or had more firepower. When they faced the NVA or VC MEN who just had their families murdered by SEALs, they got whipped. The SEALs I saw in Vietnam handed out valor awards to each other, were very poorly led and I personally wanted nothing to do with them. They confirmed it all again during "The Lone Survivor" In Afghanistan.... undisciplined, poorly led and they make very poor combat decisions. Does anybody remember Frank Albert Natale Navy PBR gunboats assault boat Coxen Brooklyn New York November 1965 till 1966 I am a son would like to know if anyone served with my father thank you very much.
My father was on the uus benewah early in the war served on the PBR as assault boat coxon claimed to have served with many Navy Seals I can be wrong this is all speculation from his mouth from my ears to you thank you very much I'm a young Vietnam veterans son one of the youngest perhaps would mean much to me to find out more about him over and out....
@@franknatale6014 I will ask Dave & Clint…but chances are they probably didn’t work with your dad because he was a little before they became SEALS. But maybe one of their contacts will know him. It’s sad…so many of these guys are now gone.😢

Amazing man. Though that line from previous interviews and repeated here that they targeted doctors is not very glorious. It’s against the Geneva convention, for a reason. Understanding in Vietnam as in previous wars, it wad hard if not impossible to respect vicious enemies who did not respect aything. It’s also eery to listen to all the efforts they spent to preparing their operations when you think most of this was passed to the enemy by one of their viet colleague.
Thank you Mr. Majors for sharing your life with us and thank you for your service. You are harder than Woodpecker Lips...God Bless...

Sự hèn nhát ,man rợ của những kẻ có IQ dưới 50 thật kinh tởm
The cowardice and barbarism of people with IQs below 50 was disgusting.
Awesome Video, Thank You and all your seal team brothers for your service…🇺🇸
These guys were so effective because they didn't go by centralized command they collected their own Intel and acted on it... Dudes were awsome
Fascinating. You won't hear this in history books. Targeting doctors and dentists, the ultimate way to break the enemies morale.
Listen to what he said! THEY WERE AFTER THE GOLD!
@@donaldzlotnik505 2.5 "by 8" of thin plate gold maybe 20 bucks worth at the time they were not after treasure just doing their job.

There were vax programs as well
Killing unarmed doctors and dentists...what great warriors! (Sarcasm) Against the NVA they got their asses handed to them.
Thank you brother
He wrote a book not long ago. The most "unlucky" or shot up platoon in that era. A lot of the book deals with the effects short and long term
God bless all of you guys
