  • Showing this quick video on how the air suspension works on this 1984 Honda Goldwing Aspencade. The maintenance book didn't show how to work it and I had trouble finding anyone who showed it online so I figured it out. Hope it helps anyone with the same problem. Thanks for watching!

thank you very much for this. User manual for my '86 wasn't much help and I was afraid the compressor wasn't working so I was hoping to find answers online. Will test this first thing tomorrow!

@@CrisCityProductions do have a quick question, is there specifics on how to operate that external air valve thing? Been fiddling with it too and haven't gotten anywhere with it

@Silver_Iron I never used it, but I was told by the first owner that the goldwing came with a air line line that you would connect it there and fill up your tires. You would just have to do it with the bike on so the compressor keeps getting air. Probably would have to buy female to female line

    u are a hero!
i just bought a goldwing 1200 from 85 but i noticed my heat sensor wont work.
ive put everything apart in the front tested all sensors and everthing worked in boiled water iam now busy on replacing the waterpump bearing while im at it.
But i was like everything works but it doesnt show.
When i have the bike all back together ill check if by pressing the button it switches :P
    Would be amazing!
alot of work for nothing u would think by takeing the whole bike apart but ive noticed some coolant in my oil so its actually good that i took in apart.
haha thanks for the video man.

Coolant in your oil is the head gasket

It’s not too hard to change. This is my man’s bike. We have the owners manual if you need info

It definitely needs head gaskets. That's why it was heating up. If you didn't ride like engine should be good. Just would need the gaskets. These bikes are easing to change them

@@CrisCityProductions not sure if its the head casket since my waterpump bearing was all gone! the reason i started checking everything coolant related is because my temp gauge doesnt work.
when i turn the key it shows the blocks but when i ride it nothing happens on that screen.
Might even replace head casket aswell if its not that much of a hassle

hi there friend. a few days ago i bought a goldwing aspencade 84 but i dont know how exactly does the air pump works. ¿does the pump only needs to be reloaded with air flom a compressor or the air pump is in fact a compressor?. i'm asking because i already push the buttons on the right panel an i didn´t see anything happens so i wondering if the air pump needs to be replaced
theres not much info abaut this bike on the web and actualy i ain´t own the usser manual.

I had the same issue, but it does have a compressor built in already. I thought it didn't work because I would push the buttons, and nothing would happen. I believe when you turn on the motorcycle, press either the front or back suspension and then press the up button to fill with air. But you have to hold them for about 10 seconds and You should see it or feel the motorcycle lift up. You can tell better if you're sitting on it and not on the stand. Hopefully that helps
