Sad to see it for sale. I first saw Wayne in the early 60s . He was little more than a teen himself and performing at the Santa Clara County Fair. My parents and I couldn't get past his high pitched singing style. It was fun to watch him gain status as a multitalented singing star throughout the years. Time does roll on I'm in my mid 70s and have nothing but wonderful memories. Love the chance to see inside his beautiful ranch. Another good one Jordan.

what a beautiful home, similar style to Liberace's home, that beautiful decor and uniqueness. You are so lucky Jordan to see this. Wayne Newton was such a icon in Las Vegas many years ago, too bad he got money issues and had to give up the home. The current owners are so kind to let you walk around the home and see everything, I would've been in a AWE just coming through those gates.

Wayne is such a lovely man and very kind. He raised his daughters at that home. It all was a museum. We visited and got to see all the neat memorabilia, cars, collections..etc. The small house was his original home his family lived in the 60's. It's too bad you didn't get to see all the other things.

Thank you!! I've driven past that property for a number of years always hearing/reading about it, but never getting much of a chance to see behind those large walls. I had intended to take one of those tours, and one year went by, then another, and of course when I finally decided I was going to do it I found out it was coming to an end. The owner or new owner of the place certainly has a lot of work to do. That interior needs some serious updating, but it was best to see it as WN would have lived in it. I'm pretty sure the plane must be there for the prior tours though. I don't recall the property having it's own airstrip, but I could be wrong.

For a handful of years, in the early 1980's, I worked for a VERY high end specialty oriental/exotic rugs and hardwood flooring company (typical and exotic woods with and without marble inlays etc...) with a showroom in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood...The bulk of our customers were the extraordinarily wealthy and celebrities who had mansions/estates in Beverly Hills, Trousdale, Bel Air etc...Because of this, I have seen the insides of many mansions.
Beyond the spectacular grounds, outbuildings and other wondrous sights what struck me as interesting and notable was the upstairs of the Newton's home....Mr and Mrs. Newton were/are a class act.
In every other mansion I've been in or seen, there is absolutely no mistaking the fact that you're stepping into the help's direct quarters/mini "wing" ....Although still upscale to standards elsewhere, the opulence vanishes. In it's place are significantly lower cost furnishings, lights etc.. (in varying degrees) and bedrooms the size of those in a regular family home.

Thank you, Adam, for letting Jordan tour the house and grounds. It's a Beautiful home. Wayne worked hard to have such a lovely home. Scott would be taking the mailbox from outside. Lol. just kidding. Lol. I know back when Jerry Lewis did the Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy telethons. Jerry said Wayne would do a full concert and then stop by late at night and do a few songs on the telethon. I remember Wayne seem to be a regular there and helped Jerry and his Kids. I know Danny Koker of Counts Kustoms toured the garages with Waynes's cars in it. Danny kept asking Wayne if he could have whatever car they stopped in front of, and Wayne always said "No". I thought that was funny. I was kind of surprised it wasn't more updated inside. It still the same home he bought many years ago. I'm sure it was hard for him to have to sell it, but he's getting up there in age and all this property would take a lot of money to keep it up and running. I can't wait to see what surprise you have for us tomorrow. Thanks again Jordan and take great care.
