The reason a center doesn't work with playing with AD is because he plays in the centers position down low. He crowds the paint. He was in Howard's way, Mcgee way. He will be the problem
I'm so tired of people saying that AD is a center. He's NOT. He's a 4. Lakers need Zac Edey and backup athletic guard in the 2nd round like Bronny. Edey will start and play 30 minutes. Bronny and Max Christie with Rui and Wood or Hayes off the bench. Trade DLo and Vincent and get Castleton and Chris Paul. Let's Go!!!
We need Zach Edy at 17, he fixes the rebounding issues and will slow down Jokic in the half court
Trevor I like Zach edey the most at pick number 17
Athony Davis is a power foward stop trying to run around
Edey has the ability to be the better version of Bynum.
Yea, right, do you know how good Bynum was when healthy Edey dosent have that type of ceiling
@@Flush0000 I said Has the ability to. Every year of Edey’s Collegiate Career he has performed better and the numbers has proven that. All Lakers Fans know Ego and Injuries is what set Bynum back.
@kellgrissom82 What I'm saying is Edey doesn't have the ability to be as good as Bynum. Edeys ceiling is somewhere around a Zubic type of player.
if Zach Edey falls to number 17, then he’s definitely not a can’t miss prospect
key word “thinking” gonna be another ass off season 😂😂
The problem with AD at the 4 is LeBron has to guard 3s. Do we really want AD guarding the perimeter so LeBron can guard slower players? I still think we need a big. Just something to think about.
I hear 3 &D wing and AD needs to play at the 4 every single year all year long
if they add a starting big who can't shoot season is already over. ad can't shoot. center who can't shoot. vando will prob start and can't shoot. it's 2024, not 1984.
run goat, run.
What i dont understand with this FO is we literally won in 2020 with that formula of 2bigs with AD (javale and DH) and 3D wing role players( DG,KK,KCP,AC) and we didnt get back to that for no apparent reason. I mean dude you have the formula go back to that and lets see what happens.
Monty Williams has just been fired💜💛💪🏾
The reason a center doesn't work with playing with AD is because he plays in the centers position down low. He crowds the paint. He was in Howard's way, Mcgee way. He will be the problem
Thinking Big but the FO doesn’t want to exceed the budget..🤦🏻♂️
Lakers needed a big for the past 3 years. All the GM'S doing is still getting smaller players.
Paul can be a hybrid bench/starter when LBJ sits every 5 games so he plays only 68 games. With Vando in the mix that team can do something. Paul can coach up Bronny, Castleton, Christie, and Edey. 9 deep for the playoffs..
Yes please for vally. Perfect fit
Edey is gonna be the next kareem if he develops a sky hook
Sure
And Max is the next Kobe
Because people have talked about Zach Eddey soooooo much you will have to move up to get him in the draft unfortunately
Duron Holmes!!! He’s 6’10” I thought we were drafting a BIG not a power forward!!!!!!!!!!
i prefer they trade for a big whos already in the nba because we dont know if whoever we draft is gonna pan out and we cant afford to drop games waiting for them this year. Id draft de silva to replace rui and use rui's salary to get a better wing/big combo like daron sharpe and dfs
Big splash will eventually turn into little ripple.
Edey is weighing on me now he could be a joker stopper bigger stronger to big to shoot over
That’s why I’m starting to like Edey more as an option now but he’s not the joker but I can see the effect he can have on the court like Joker.
@@ezeke99m I can see him being a joker stopper honestly I’m sure he’s strong as a ox Dwight gave him problems he can probably keep up with him also I like it
@@Headtaps7220 Yeah I agree with him slowing down Jokic. Edey is a massive man lol. Offensively btw was what I was talking about. But defensively yeah I see him slowing down Jokic.
@@ezeke99m indeed and to support you AD along side him at the 4 would be crazy and if that 3pt shot is at all 32% like Trevor said look out He’s a good player who could end up being in the perfect situation
Lakers need to sign a big boy center ( R Holmes , W Carter , M Bagley III , J Allen my favorite choice , A Drummond or draft Edey. Then instead of the same shit every off-season trading all our depth and role players for a max contract player Enough of all that the Lakers could easily get D Derozen who also plays with LeBron often in the off season and he would be the perfect piece that we've been missing. Its amazing to me that Derozen doesn't get the credit he's due and he's a terrific 2-way player that will help our defense tremendously and very high basketball IQ. Big Center around $15-$20mil a year caliber , D Derozen 2-3 year contract $25 mil a year then use Rui A Reeves M Christie and whoever else we can trade or relive some cap space. and keep d lo trade Reeves for Dejounte Murray. C-Edey/W Carter PF-A Davis SF L James SG - D Derozen PG- D lo or D Murray for the Starters and theres plenty of great affordable bench and role players where this team can be the number 1 threat easily if they can put together something like the players I have on this list just my opinion
Take Kai Sotto , a 7'3 Bigman 21 year old young. Hes going to make a debut to make a first full blooded Filipino play in the NBA. I hope he make it and I love to see him in Laker Uniform💜💛
The lakers never been the same since they put AD at the 5
This is the year Pelinka better show out or he's gonna be on the hot seat
AD is not a 5
There are some options there. Have to check in with the coach and uhhhhh......OH!......right!.......Sorry!
Zach Edey!!! Book it!
