- I head off to the forest on a wet, blustery day to test out the Helikon-Tex Poncho and have a cuppa under my Basha. Poncho did the job and the tea was nice.

Very atmospheric vid.
I was literally thinking " that looks like the tumuli" as you said it 😀. Need to look into a decent poncho now we're moving into the wetter weather.

I accidentally stumbled on your Bivvi & Basha vid a couple of weeks ago. You have a great on-screen presence. I went back to No 1 and have had a great time viewing them all and have now caught up. Bloody brilliant. Subscribed of course. 👍

Well that was a wet one. I love the sound of the rain on the poncho, especially when it came down in bigger drips. You looked snug enough in there though, with a nice cuppa, simple and that's living life to me. Cheers. Also how did you film the bit from the tarp when you where standing out, it looked like the camera was moving forward?
Cheers mate it was a nice chilled day didn't get wet either. Just stuck the camera in the basha mate and the zoomy in thing is something on the editing software . Cheers for watching bud take care 👍🏕

Proper wet day session, cant beat the plough point for this type of session, what did you think of the poncho? ,I have 2, there not bad, but due to be have a rather large head, trying to wear a hoodie ,or cap with the hoid up is tight for me, saying that, they are good ponchos otherwise, cool woodland too, good health and safe travels my friend, cheers craig
Hi Craig . Mate I've got a pin head 😂 I wore a peaked beenie hat type thing ( 🤔) under the hood and it worked well for me . I actually liked the hood . I've had stuff before where the hood keeps falling down or restricts your view a lot . This one fit me quite well. Stay well mate atb 👍
Man im the same. Looking for a spot where there are trees and bushes etc as they are natural shelters so instinctively I graviate towards them. Im not a fan of pitching in wide open spaces like moorland.
Mate I always get into the trees although recently I've had fleeting thoughts of camping on heath and more open land for the views and stars on a clear night. Although there is also the stealthy out the way thing to consider . But yep the woods are nice 👌

Bit wet out mate. I don't think people realise the effort and time involved in filming yourself walking to and from and the camera! ATB mate
It was wet mate I managed to stay dry though ( whitch was nice 😂) ., stuff did the job There is a bit of wandering about with the camera

What’s the temperature out there?
Not to sure but I think on that day it was about 10 -12 . That's somewhere round 50 in Fahrenheit I think . So not to cold , but can be if you're soaked through 😂
