I mean, think about it. Humans are on the larger end of animal sizes. We look intimidating, and would, and by nature’s law, should, be killing and eating it. We are a huge threat. Yet we decide everything needs to be pet, for zero reason. We bring animals to our mouths, and instead of biting like a predator should, we kiss their foreheads. It’s so extremely irrational, that that puppy is probably having an internal error trying to figure out what to do.
Confused, but the puppy has experienced love for the first time in that very moment. A core memory for the small pup. As time goes on she will appreciate and love every head kiss she gets from that point because she will understand and know just how loved she is. Dogs are truly wonderful and blessed animals.
