I always wear black and I can't comprehend well that most people don't sweat as much as us. There could be a person wearing grey in a hallway and I think that they are so brave.
This hurts me so much to hear, no one deserves to feel bad about their own body! But know that you’re not alone and try not to make this effect your life too much, I know it’s easier said that done, but I’m here if you ever wanna talk❣️
I have a lot of respect for you for doing this. I suffer from generalized hh (armpits, back, belly, forehead) as well, and because of it I avoid a lot of things, although no one seems to notice because of my introversion, and I have to add that I am fit (calisthenics). But one thing that’s helping me a lot (as in 50% less sweat or so) is consuming half a teaspoon with baking soda and coconut water, and regularly consuming bananas (for extra potassium which is needed when you’re consuming baking soda). I came across a reddit post that suggested this, and it works wonders. Another thing that helped me a lot are Magnesium Glycinate (twice or once a week) VitD3, and Omega 3, because the Omega 3 lowers cortisol, and because of my hh I get anxious/stressed in certain situations to not sweat. Stress creates more cortisol. Obviously my hh is not caused by anxiety, but it does get worse when I am anxious though, and I found that by lowering my cortisol (meditation, omega3 etc), it lowers the chance of a “sweat breakout”. It’s a vicious circle. Stay strong 💪🏾
Could you plz explain how half a teaspoon of baking soda and coconut water makes you sweat less? I'm trying to find it online, but i cannot see the reason anywhere...
You’re not alone too ! thanks for sharing this with us , i have the same situation here ,i suffer a lot but always i think things will be better and i wish that
I basically screwed up an opportunity as a tattoo apprentice because of this condition. I sweat mainly from hands and feet, but when I get nervous I tell you my whole body pours out water falls. Who wants to be tatto'd by such a person right? So I was honest and told them this, they would call back. "You got talent but sorry we can't hire you."
That's awful, I hate the fact that you didn't get the job you wanted just because of this condition! It makes me angry that they couldn't see past that and hire you because of your talent. And I would definitely get tattooed by you💕
