We need a Decentralised Carbon Neg Algae Based Economy, using Algae to clean our waste water( and Landfill runoff/industrial gasses). Would permanently sequester vast quantities of atmospheric CO2, produce valuable Biomass & Bio Oil that can be made into numerous Carbon Neg Eco products. That would create millions of new local climate saving/Green jobs and bring £Millions to local communities/economies. Putting a shape (‘’Donut’’) on economics is unnecessary and distracting from the 2 necessary transitions needed to reduce atmospheric CO2 to a climate stable level of min 300ppm!. The second necessary transition is to end animal ag then we could reforest 78% of agricultural land which would be enough of a Carbon Sink to sequester more CO2 emissions than are currently emitted, while ending the biggest Methane emitter, and biggest cause of Ocean Dead Zones & biggest cause of rainforest destruction(90%) 🌻✊🏽🌎
