      PGA making it super hard. id like to see LIVE Tour change that - to at least give good golfers a run at making money to continue their careeers. PGA Tour just drains the LIFE out of your pockets. Unbelieveable. Could you imagine having to pay this to get into tennis, basketball, or baseball? lol

      It's very similar with tennis bro, if u don't keep winning u won't make money. it's not like group sports and huge salaries. there's no salaries it's winning and climbing through the ranks. then u get popular and sponsors come but the mechanic is he same.

      This comment makes no sense. The rest of the sports aren't creating money from thin air. They are paying people a percentage of the profits earned from their labor. At most half, with the team owners taking the rest. They couldn't be paid as much if they weren't worth as much. Golfers are in fact laughably underpaid. You would be shocked if you really new how much these players are actually worth. Doesn't matter what you think their value is.

      @@edwardcaldwell9644 that’s why guys like rickie fowler are out here doing every other commercial they can get their hands on. But what the other was saying is that it’s one of the only sports where you can get paid for how well you play on the spot. If you win the players championship, in a month or something you’ll have like 8 mill in the bank. If you don’t win at all you’ll have nothing.

    There is one thing I don't understand about the "Korn Ferry Tour", maybe someone can explain it to me. It was said that the top 25 players on the "Korn Ferry Tour", qualify for the PGA Tour. So far so good! The other (Top-75) players compete in the "Korn Ferry Tour Finals" and 25 of them can qualify through that. So 50 in total!? What I don't understand. Do the top 25 players also play there, even though they are already qualified, or is it more like place 26 - 75?

    • @anaks247
      @anaks247  5 месяцев назад

      Not that it still applies today with all the changes in the past few years, but yes, the top 25 still played with basically “house money”. They have their card secured and are playing for more money and potential higher status like for instance the top Korn ferry guy gets invited to the players championship.
