    Me and my dad used to joke about that when I played HS golf. Lost him to Parkinson’s and miss him a ton. He came to every single match and tournament. • @dorothygale1104
      @dorothygale1104 25 дней назад

      Yeah, the difference is ond is a sports competition and the other is an entertainment video in which golf is played. The quality of the golf doesn’t matter in a video posted by a RUclips golfer, as evidenced by the fact that Grant shot a 79 and yet he got a lot of views for this video. Those who watch pro golf on tv (or any other device) are interested in the sports competition of the event, not whether the players are funny or engaging personally. But it is interesting to not that in the qualifying event that Grant played in none of the YT golfers were chatting and chirping like they do in their videos. When golfer’s are competing for prize money or a chance to get into a tournament, they get serious real fast and alk the entertaining banter gets out aside. Grant even noted that George was not the talkative George we see in his videos. If you saw Wesley compete in the Tour event last weekend in which he came in 2nd place, he was dead serious and wasn’t the talkative Wesley from his videos.

    • @danieldunn293
      @danieldunn293 25 дней назад

      I appreciate seeing every shot and how a good golfer works to get themselves out of sticky situations. It’s not just about the entertainment, it’s an entertaining education for me.

    Love this video. As you are talking about nerves and settling into the round, I can feel myself fully absorbing that energy and I can truly relate, both to playing tournament golf 1000 years ago for me and just getting out on the course now trying to get my channel going and grinding all the time to become the player you are....I noticed that the first few holes you were a little quick from the top and not fully finishing your backswing. I do the same thing during play(most people do I think) and watching the videos back on myself playing it is truly aggravating to watch. Its like I am making a completely different swing than normal.
    You played really well man. Your short game looked really good and of course you are a phenomenal player. This is AMAZING for the You Tube Golf world for sure. Also, for Matt to clutch up and drain that putt, I'm not sure people truly appreciate how difficult that is to do in a moment like that. You really need amazing technique that you can fall back on, years and years worth of practice and grinding that allows you to accomplish that in a high pressure moment.

      The course didn’t suit a bomber that has no short game. Micah will be hurting, but he needs to sharpen up his short-game and get more putting practice. He is obsessed with what he thinks is his advantage, Distance. Well on tight courses, you need a plan B, Micah doesn’t have that. Bomb and gouge will work on some courses, but you still have to get it in the hole, not sure Micah has the golf brain to realise.

    Grant, you shot well! It's a different vibe when you're not just playing for content! Still think the Q should have been limited to just YT golfers. Also, Henry is the GOAT when it comes to caddying. Always positive, always encouraging, calling the right shots. Just awesome seeing you two approach each shot.

    You gave a good account of yourself young Grant, it is a steep learninng curve and one which must be navigated carefully. Also, don't worry too much about beating yourself up, it means you care with passion and you want to produce the best golf you can. Keep going G.
