Sounds awesome. I have a beat up old German made parlour guitar that I love keeping in open B minor. Sloppy on the base but tight in the mids and trebles. This sounds great though and your demonstration was first class.
toujours superbe. s'il vous plait, ajouter les tablatures. J'adore cet accordage et il est difficile de trouver des transcriptions en D minor. Dank im Voraus
Thanks! If it says TABS in the video title there are tabs, unfortunately I don't have time to transcribe them all. Here's one in D minor with tabs: ruclips.net/video/s8X9nbbXmY0/видео.html
Now I want to get myself an old vintage guitar. Will probably have to wait until Lockdown is over, currently not many people selling them. Do you also have old american guitars? (Stella, Oscar Schmidt,...) A video showing us your collection would be interesting. Keep it up!
The only old american guitar I have is the lap steel in this video. I actually don't have much of a collection. I usually buy instruments cheap, make them playable, use them a bit and then sell them. A few instruments are permanent of course, such as the 1908 and 1909 Levin seen in many of my videos.
That last piece with the lap steel - fabulous. Real depth, mood, feeling. Spookily good.
Thanks Alan!
this should have a million views, awesome - I've watched it 20 times!
Thank you, I appreciate that!
That old guitar sounds like you could play all day and still want more. Open d minor has a haunting sound. Thanks for an inspiring performance.
Thanks!
Kan inte komma på något nytt att skriva, så jag gör så här 🤘👌👍
Var glad att du inte behöver komma på något nytt att spela varje vecka!
Really love the grain on the soundboard and the gears on those tuners are really interesting
Beautiful use of dissonances!
Glad you like it!
Nice echo of Skip James ("Hard time killing floor blues"), played on an old piece of wood very close to a Stella Harmony...
Good job
Thanks!
Such a cool lapsteel!

That's fucking awesome.

Älskar verkligen detta 💖. Du e bäst lille brorsan
Man tackar!
I dig it, I'll have to try out the tuning. CGCGCD (Gadd9) has been my go to open tuning for a while.
Thanks! I might try your tuning (which I would call Csus2 by the way).
@@AndreasBrink in hindsight, sus2 would be the proper terminology haha
Porcupine Tree would've been proud of that last one. I could easily imagine Steve Wilson singing over that.
Thanks!

Yet again, tack Meester Brink.
How to procure from you one them Levin docs, please and thanks.
Thanks Martin!
@@AndreasBrink you are most welcome.
Do you have any of those documentary's left, or where to go for one?
@@martincummins8528 I have a bunch of DVDs of the Levin documentary left. The only place to get them now is direct from me.
@@AndreasBrink sound, i'll have a couple of copies of that please. How would you like to proceed?
@@martincummins8528 You'll find my mailadress on anakronfilm.com.
Do you use a microphone and if so where do ya put it
I do use a microphone and I usually put it about a foot in front of the 12th fret.
@AndreasBrink thank you
What tuning is that lap steel guitar in
It seems to be in Open D minor. DADFAD, low to high.
What’s the bmp of the song?
If you mean bpm it's around 78.
