This song has such simple chord progression yet he can play it in 10000 different ways beautifully. That’s amazing. And The singer, just wow.
Aimé’s improvisational flow is unbelievable. It’s like watching her head thinking, never getting stuck, always top secure, always furthering the plot, always with great imaginary ideas and always based on absolutely superbly mastering of technique. Absolutely on same level in jazz as Anna Lucia Richter or Lea Desandre in classical music.
This is not just a performance. It's a harmony lesson..the guitarist..damn!

Pretty certain the guitar part was not written out as it is improvised. He can play like that because he knows the tune inside out and back to front and can substitute chords changes at the drop of a hat. Not to mention his incredible groove which is most definitely a Brazilian thing!

Die ist ebenso eine Geborene Musikversteherin. Und die Noten sind ja auch verlinkt. Heilige Sch.... ist das schwer zu spielen. Mein Respekt.

Brilliant, exceptionally good cover of one of my favourite soul classics. It´s "just the both of you" that is needed to give that song a further, deeper meaning. Sometimes less is more, especially if it is played and sung on this level. You get me, great job! :)
