Yen - gives triss and geralt time alone
Also yen - Stays within earshot and in sight the whole time
..after she kised Geralt...in front of Triss...
I would not consider that Yennefer is a canon, especially since in the history of the Witcher there were never real feelings between them, if you carefully read the book and completed the "Last Wish" quest, then you will understand everything. Throughout the Sapkowski saga, there was artificial love between them woven from magic and the desire for gin, this is cheating for the most part and even more so because of the personality of the two characters they cannot be together, according to the books they always diverged and converged because of the magic of gin . Moreover, Geralt himself, taking advantage of his last desire, enclosed himself in it. If you rely on the full logic in detail "calling a spade a spade" in this epic of the author of the books himself and take into account the trilogy of the Witcher game, then everything falls into place, you can draw a verdict from this ..... What Geralt really experienced their feelings, their love of his whole life is Triss Merigold and there was no magic between them, unlike Ian, and free relations and sincerity towards her, even regardless of their age, they really loved each other. Yen seduced him with the help of magic, and Triss was always honest with him, even though sometimes she behaved like a girl. But unfortunately not everyone will understand my theory.
@@leksanuch I haven't read the books (but plan to!), so I can't say anything to that, but I'm on my second playthrough and I chose Triss again. For me, after breaking the magic of the djinn Geralt was finally free to be with whoever he wanted to be. That's why I did 'The Last Wish' quest beforehand and 'Now or Never' later in the game. It felt like the natural order. To be with Triss seemed like the true happy ending for me, their relationship is a calm, loving one and later when Geralt said he feels a harmony, like things are the way they are supposed to be I felt like I made the right choice and was happy with my ending ever since :')
@@misstriss5377You just gave me a great idea for plotting my romantic relationship with Triss. Something I didn’t think of before that you can first, instead of going to Novigrad, first of all go to the Skellige Islands and deal with Yen and the magic of the genie that connected them from the moment they met. After all, over the years of separation, he missed her, had not seen each other for a long time. Moreover, Geralt himself, after a difficult separation from Triss, according to the plot after The Witcher 2, he was afraid to meet her in person, this was proven in the first quest "The Bonfires of Novigrad" and here's another reason, based on logic ... why he could change his mind and immediately after the prologue, go to Yennefer, arguing that Geralt's plans have changed. It's good that the developers of the game themselves thought out this option and advanced it to the logical stage.
The conclusion is this: First, deal with Yen, with their genie magic, with the artificial love that connected them a long time ago and at the end of the stage in the Last Wish quest, when the last wish that Yen made, the spell is dispelled and Geralt confesses this and he is more does not connect magic, respectively, and feelings, which proves that this version of the event is more logical and more canonical based on the description of the developers themselves and the author of the books himself. And as soon as, after our Geralt finally figured out the relationship with Yen, freed from the spell, he immediately moved to Novigrad, performing his task while searching for Ciri together with Triss and along the way, from the very beginning, slowly, builds relationships with her because . Previously, their feelings were not connected by any magic, but only by true love. Even if they did not immediately admit it, but by the process of passing the quests it was immediately clear that they did not even breathe to each other, it must be blind not to notice such obvious facts. And when the moment of parting in the port came in the "Now or Never" quest, if, remembering all the events through which they went through together in all parts of the Witcher trilogy, they went through great trials together, went through "Fire and Water" all these years, during the time of Geralt's amnesia , even in the book there were moments where Triss greatly helped Geralt and more than once there were such cases, even if she was a minor character, it doesn’t change anything for me, actions are actions. And against the background of everything experienced, Geralt realized that he could not refuse Triss, it would be too wrong for him, that he could not live without her, and then he asks her to stay with him, confesses his feelings, love. And their mutual love immediately ignited with renewed vigor. Which is completely logical and canonical in my opinion for completing the novel with a better ending, and even more so since the most important thing is that Geralt was happy with her, like in a fairy tale: "And they lived happily ever after." I've always liked the romance between Geralt and Triss, much more than the others.
@@misstriss5377 In relation to Yennefer, this is one sheer magic (in a word, “Cheating”), I don’t even speak for the personalities of the characters. Triss is a test! I prefer a test than a cheat!
I prefer Triss but the way Yen reacts when you tell her the magic is gone? Kinda feels like you kicked a puppy.
Felt like kicking a dozen puppies
I literally stepped on a puppy yesterday so I know what that sounds like
@Piotr Turek well, I think CDPR missed out on the opportunity to include that into the ending screen. Since the Djinns magic that binds Yen and Geralt together is never broken, he would naturally one way or the other get drawn back to Yen again and betray Triss if you chose Triss over Yen. :D
I too prefer Triss a billion times more than that ice queen Yen!!!

Tell me about it, I've been reading people's quarrels over it for the past 5 years!
When you don't have one IRL, that does tend to happen :D.
But jokes apart, I think it's just because people are so invested in this game that they just can't help but feel a connection to it.
Though it is sad to see that people just can't respect another person's decisions and choices. If that's how people react to fictional choices, imagine how'd they react to a real world scenario :)

What made me fall in love with Triss is how calm and peaceful their relationship is. True, Yennefer might give a livelier, possibly more passionate romance, but also with more contrast and bickering, definitely an exhausting romance. The way I roleplay it is that, while it's true that opposites attract, similarities stay together, and the harmony Geralt wants can only come from Triss.
That's a fair description, I actually think Yen's romance in the games is less exhausting that the books :)
That’s a good observation. When Ciri asked Geralt about them, he responded similarly, stating that he’s at peace and with Yen the bickering was never ending. I felt like his explanation with their relationship was more genuine and deep than the explanation he gave of his and Yen’s.
"True, Yennefer might give a livelier, possibly more passionate romance," ... I am not so sure about that!
I also like Triss more in the game. Her calm and feminine way is just appealing! But after all ... she is younger and therefor wants to gain more experience - in every aspect of a relationship. So even if her nature seems not as wild as Yen's ... *she should just to be as wild by discovering things and just by her younger age.*
Yen on the other hand may as well "play" to be the wilder one ... just because she knows that this behavior makes her interesting and mysterious. So she is using her experience in men to attract more men. While Triss seems to act naturally, curiously and valiant, Yen very often seems to be calculating and directing the action in a more considered way.
So the possibility to "discover" new aspects with a feminine cautious woman makes Triss for me even more appealing than the more experienced but in that way calculating Yen.
Depends how you like your love, some like their pleasure mixed with pain.
But triss is obsessed with geralt to the point that she know about his passed when he forgot everything and didn’t tell him about his relationship with yen so she had a chance with him. Both are bad options.
A story about a wolf choosing to fall in love with a raven or a fox.

As someone who purely played the game with no book knowledge, I just felt more of a connection with Triss, I've seen her and Geralt go through so much together in three games. I didn't like how she took advantage of him but she still felt like the better choice given I only got to meet Yennefer in the last game and she didn't exactly have a good impression on me.
Chunky Tubs I had a better first impression with Triss but a better last impression with Yenn, personally I wish Triss’ romance was more fleshed out, it’s obvious the creators wanted the player to go for Yenn. The more I got to know Yenn the more I warmed up to her, which I think is a more realistic approach pulling back the bitch layers to reveal a sorta nice person. Triss was more friendly at first which I think ultimately made me want to romance Yenn to, ended up choosing both and getting neither in the end🤷🏻♂️

Honestly, I find it funny how personal life experience changes your preference. When I played this game the first time, being 21/22, Yen was a safe choice for me. Besides redheads are usually not my type, I found Yen's dominant and determinig character extremely attractive. Now, over 6 years later - having had 2 relationships on my own in that period of time, one being toxic af - I play again and I would take Tris over Yen everyday of the week. With age and experience you just appreciate a woman of Tris' character.
That’s deep, bro.
NGL good romance partner is hard to find
I have a friend who studies and is a professional in psychology for couples and she was surprised at how realistic Geralt and Yen's relationship was in terms of being toxic. While she found Triss's not so perfect, but a much healthier relationship with a lot of potential for improvement.
It's amazing how people nowadays believe that toxic relationships are the best because they don't even know what they are like, and think Yennefer is a "strong woman for strong mens", when in Witcher all the main womans are strong womans btw.
@@battlerushiromiya6457 IMO that had to do with someone mentality, I was young when I first played WC3 and find Yen very much attractive then after few years having lots of relationships with girls like yen(not 100% just in some aspect like attitude) I found it always frustrating then 1 year ago I played WC3 again because of covid, I romanced Triss and find out she's what I actually wanted, now I just want someone to give me attention, talk softly to me and tell me everything is gonna be fine
@@ZurinArctus0 It is not only that, Triss is a woman who likes to improve herself, be professional and does not stuck in life, she is also not selfish(rarely), she always seeks to be active and do something profitable. You can dialogue with her and not argue, at least not in a toxic way and in Geralt's case she supports his freedom to continue being a witcher whenever he wants. There is stability and potencial in that relationship.
Triss is one of the concepts of women that actually works best in a relationship in real life, Yen is romanticizing toxicity, which is worse in the book.

Here is when I knew Triss was better, despite Yennefer being the canon choice.
Someone who inspires you to be better, grow together and treat you with respect is someone who will be your perfect match. Geralt is genuinely happier with Triss because she doesn't treat him like shit.
uhh... did you play the same games? Triss does not respect him, she takes advantage of him every chance she gets, especially in tw 1 & 2. Yen is the one who respects geralt, tells him the truth about things and how she feels instead of lying to him, she's blunt and that may make her a bitch but at least shes honest? Its so easy to see past triss' "innocent" act and realize shes just as manipulative as any other sorceress in the game. almost everyones argument against yen is she "treats him like a dog", they argue constantly, or shes a "bad person" (hello, geralt isnt angel??) and yet nobody realizes that triss does the EXACT same thing? right from the start triss manipulates him, pretends to be the sorceress he was in love with to get him to sleep with her while he has amnesia, not to mention sends him out on a bunch of tasks in novigrad and argues with him when she doesnt get her way. sure, she tells him about yen and ciri (eventually, after his memory has already started to come back) and helps him find them, yet she STILL flirts and tries to sleep with him multiple times. She isnt a good person, shes young and childish and only does things for herself and personal gain (ie. making geralt move to kovir with her to be closer to politics, something geralt is strongly against.) Literally all geralt wants in the end is a quiet life away from politics and schemes and thats exactly what he gets with yen, they've grown together for 20 years and consider each other equals.

Triss treats you much worse overall than Yen does, it's just that Yen comes off more cold. Triss just stood by while hiding so much from you and hiding that she knew everything related to your amnesia, all while you spent the whole second game trying to figure out your memory. Like imagine if Yen actually knew where Ciri was the whole time in the witcher 3? That'd be a horrible thing to do, and that's why I never pick Triss
Grass grows, bird flies, sun shines and xLetalis on his 500th playthroughs of The Witcher 3.
All's right with the world.
BONK
i´d pay for a DLC where, after the main quest, we see geralt and triss in kovir, and one of the other mages asks her about the "code" and how they never cracked it.
It hurts because I don’t hate either. But as an RPG it’s my choice and Geralt just seemed happier, more at ease and able to relax rather than constantly have tension. Perhaps some people like that in their relationships but I feel more comfortable with Triss’s style.
My friend who played this said:
This is sort of weird because, "Hey the woman you spent the last ten minutes with is Yennefer and you really love her."
...
"Now spend the next three hours with Triss"
Thanks for all these videos. All the cutscenes and dialogue get overwhelming sometimes during the first play through, and these videos help me pick up what I missed.
my pleasure ;]
I just love Triss the most and it’s so romantic to romance her through all the three games. Yennefer’s magic just died in another life...

Story tell that 10 years after arriving to Movie, they are still trying to decode.
2 hours of love for Triss :) Would you like one for Yennefer as well?

@@xLetalis I heard she prefers women
I will say this, Triss handles not getting Geralt a lot better than Yen does. Yen is a huge bitch when she gets upset, teleporting Geralt is funny and all but kind of over the top. And honestly, you said you'd give Triss and Geralt a minute to themselves, but you're coughing and eaves dropping, jealous much?
In my experience playing W3 I always try to focus on character development - build, stats etc. I think to myself, I don't need this in my life - all I want is expirience and adventure. But then I meet Triss and I just can't say no. I always end up with Triss in the end. Plus, I always have "Triss overhaul" mod installed. In this case, one could argue, that ignoring Merigold is flat out impossible.
1:24:31 every time I replay the Witcher 3 I spend the whole game dreading this moment.
Yeah when I actually do a Triss romance, I'm definitely going to dread that. I usually pick Yen but I'm probably going to change it up for my next go at it
You could just not do the quest
I pick Yen every time, but I totally get everyone who picks Triss. This is a fantastic romance in a one-of-a-kind game
I love it whenever Triss/Yen tells Geralt to dress up, and he just starts sulking like a pup xD
I played the game like 3 times, everytime with a new game, and never EVER want to choose between them.
I love Triss, I feel that she's so lovely, and she's so healty and good for Geralt, it's a good relationship, and is so cute that moment on 1:50:20 when she says: I love you, and when she's leaving he whispers: I love you too...
I feel that Triss is soo good for him, and I can't handle loving her.
But at the same time, I can't break Yen's heart, even when sometimes she's a pain in the but, you get to like her, and she knows how to be cute too, and breaks my heart when you say that you don't longer want to be with her and that kind of things.
I'll never end the game because of this xD
Saw your 2 vids, Triss and Yen, and saw it before but loved to see both paths again, thanks bro, really thank you.
Agree
When I desired to romance Triss, happily chapter when I had to brake Yens heart never came, kinda happy about that. I just kept mt distance from Yen in very respectful, sensitive way. It's nice that game gives you this option.
Alex, I romance with Yen nine times from start to finish with Geralt but she's extremely hotheaded and manipulative so far. And it is kind of hard to choose one for Geralt; first that Yennefer bossing Geralt around like a dog, fights and argument will not building up a good relationship for between them two. She got the power to do where and whenever she wants and not for Geralt. Yennefer is drama and that's all I found. Next is Geralt did have sex with Triss in Witcher 2 when it all starts. Triss never pressure Geralt during the quests! I loved Triss personality (she's lovable, funny, and caring), opposite of Yennefer. She care for her people and gets alone with Dijkstra but don't get me wrong. Dijkstra is an idiot for sticking his nose of people's affairs. About Triss, I understand her body-language that she really want Geralt back in her life. To be honest, Geralt has to decide which one that he truly love. To me I stick with Irina Renarde from Novigrad but for Geralt, we will never know what kind of woman he choose that make it to part 4.
I chose "Let's try again." first playthrough. Goddamnit, that's so stupid. Geralt didn't love Yen no more and Ciri ended up dead. Second and third playthrough I romanced Triss and got the happy ending. Now, I'm 20 hours on my fourth playthrough, gonna romance Triss all over again, just to pay up for not choosing "I love you." on my first playthrough.
I know what you mean... good luck!
You didn't have another save?
It's so sad Vesemir wasn't there to celebrate the Wild Hunt's defeat.
You right, it was all for nothing if it wasn't for Vesemir.
I just find Triss more caring and beautiful than Yen is that normal ? In my all 3 playthroughs I chose her where I decided once to choose Yen but she just doesn't give me good vibes, more like hey dog get this done for a juicy bone !!
Team Triss all the way bro
@@DownTheHill3 all day every day bro !!
Interesting how Yens against cheating... "Vile, cruel" etc. Yet in the books she slept with Istredd (think thats spelled right) when she was with Geralt. But who knows....
Not to take her side on this thing but maybe because she knows both sides of the story: being a cheater and being cheated on?!🤔
@@Fvmadgal Perhaps, im fairly new to the Witcher franchise so theres lil that I know. From what Ive seen/read shes.... A bit much sometimes
@@johnnyg5798 won't spoil anything but imo Geralt's not better than Yen. They kind of deserve each other. I think their quirks are what actually make them perfect for each other. Also when starting The Witcher games I was biased already and had developed a serious disliking for Triss. I'm one of the few who knew the books long before the games became well known.
@@rendigmor Same, she hasn't just taken Geralt from Yen in the games, she's done it in the books. I don't know what's worse, sleeping with your best friends man while he can't remember her or seducing him with magic during a fight they had. I can't look passed that.
Not really sure Yen made such a big deal of it all. You think? She "heard" about them.. so if she so cared.. she might have tried to find Geralt to see what is going on. I think Yen isn't so much consumed into Geralt as "he" is into her. After all, he chose her.. to be in his life. She has always questioned it. On the other hand Triss lied to him the entire time and never told Geralt that her best friend and him had a thing going on before he lost his memory. Triss is selfish.. her love is what is needed for her.. not what Geralt wants. She knows it too.. she admits it at the end.
I never let her be tortured. That's just too much. And I would never let my girlfriend get hurt, even if that's her plan.
@@MrBlodskaal Yeah, but then again saying to Yen that magic is no more is also heart breaking. On my 4 playthroughs I chose Triss twice, once both and we all know how that ends, and Yen once.
I think Yennefer has more romantic scenes, she's more mature, Triss is a sweetheart too but she's childish.
All in all it's a tough choice. That's why the replayability is great, of course not only because of the romances.
But I'd definitely choose Shani over all of them if it was an option. Shani is a catch, very sweet girl.
A medic and a Witcher, it's like if they were made for each other, he hunts, she treats his wounds.
Nothing about Yen but
#TeamTriss 💪 forever
21:57 From doing two playthroughs, I know that if you choose not to address it, Triss will reply along the lines of, "You could have cleared up the fact that we're no longer lovers!". But if you do, she'll say, "You didn't have to say anything about the fact that we're no longer lovers!"
It's an interesting analysis into Triss' psyche; she wants the two of them to still be together, but desperately wants to dig out Geralt's mind as to whether or not he wants the same thing.
Geralt: So what become of us? See anything else in the reflection?
Triss: Mhm Zoltan moves in
Geralt: Say sike right now
Oh the glorious banter of Zoltan. Never gets old.
Tris:Look for evidence of rats
*Place is INFESTED and are visible
Tris: maybe look for droppings
I did the game with both of them, with Yenn and with Triss and there is nothing that could be more perfect for Geralt than Triss, himself said that he's happy with her and he prefers her personnality and that's what he needed after all these quarrels with Yenn, beat the game with Triss at your side you'll see. After that you'll realize there is only one way to do the game and this is with her. They're made for each other, it's so calm and natural between the two of them, like a great chemistry
Funny, because Geralt says he finally is where he is supposed to be when you romance Yen, so you can’t base your decision of what he says to Ciri. If you play blood and wine and romance Yen, their relationship is also calm and quiet at that point since ciri is safe and there’s no more plots and politics in their life. All I’m tryna say is both characters work for Geralt and both are valid options.
2019, after 4 years I'm still playing this game, 6th playthrough here, gonna pick triss this time. I love her hehe
You doing new game Plus or legit starting over fresh? Cause I might do a 4th playthrough but this time with dlc added or continue on my third playthrough where I romanced triss and I on the dlc part what should I do?.
@@XxPlatinumChief I suggest going for NG+, because on the Blood and Wine expansion, you'll get new slots to put abilities from your skill tree and some 'mutations'/bonuses. Wich require, besides mutagens, points to spend on them in order to get unlocked. So the extra points you get from leveling up all the way up to the BaW expansion will definitly help you and be very handy! Otherwise, if you decide to go on normal New Game, you won't be able to use all of the 3 new slots for abilities trees aswel for the mutations(sorry my english)
@@Threewlz ok sounds good thank you (and your English was fine)
I married a woman with the attitude of triss. I like laid back people.
I prefer Ciri with this getup; just can't stand how her original eye shadows looked like she's going to put on Batman's mask later.
I prefer it too ;]
I understand that Yen is the more canonical choice, but he seems so much happier with Triss. Yes, she took advantage of his amnesia. Yes, there's an argument that he couldn't consent to the relationship. However, I argue that it's the first relationship since meeting Yen that he's been ABLE to consent to. When he made that wish to bind his fate to Yen, his entire relationship with her became the equivalent of him essentially being drunk on Jinn magic. The game giving us a choice in how he feels after the Jinn's magic is dispelled implies that prior to that event, there was no choice to be made. The amnesia was the first time in a long time that he was free to feel his heart without the influence of magic on it, and it's a feeling he was able to hold onto after his memory returned. Which is why she's the only other character that he can honestly say "I love you" to.
His ending with Triss feels more like the life he'd be happier with too. With Yen he ends up stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do but lay around all day talking with Yen. Given their history of arguments and fighting, I think that scenario is going to turn miserable really quickly for him. With Triss, while she is involved in the political world, he doesn't have to be. He still gets to be a Witcher and live his life on his terms, but now he has a home, as well as someone to come home to.
In Geralt's own words, "With Yen it was fight after fight, lots of arguments, drama... Not saying it was bad but...got to be exhausting. With Triss, it's not. I finally feel... harmony. A calm. Feel like things are the way they're supposed to be."
Side note: Yen is a cheater. Triss is loyal. The Lambert thing was speculation at best, and pretty well debunked at this point.
I like your take, about the part where Triss is the only other woman Geralt can wholeheartedly confess his feelings to 🙂
Can't ever bring myself to romance or even like Yen, when perfection like Triss exists.
I really feel like Triss is the "right" choice for Geralt. Like he said himself, he felt "a calm" with her. As far as I know (close to nothing), there's no hard evidence that there is a canon/right/true/destined choice for Geralt from developers.
I feel that Geralt deserves his happiness with Triss. And Ciri becomes the new witcher (please, please Witcher 4 with Geralt cameo!)
1:29:03 and onwards cracks me up 😂 Geralt is trying really hard to handle the situation delicately
Second time i finished the game.. again with Triss. I’m in love of this girl ^^
Thx for video :)
15:39 i like the casual convo triss is having whilst holding a fireball
Triss “You’re a doll.”
Geralt “As long as you don’t treat me like one. Yen already treats me like a dog according to Keira.”
Don’t get me wrong I like Yen, but relationships like theirs don’t last. Geralt doesn’t have a voice in that relationship...anything he says or does is swept aside. And with their history of being terrible to each other as soon as one of them gets bored or slightly angry...yeah their “retirement” at the end of B&W won’t last. Triss just offers a better alternative, a relationship that’s much more of an actual partnership rather than a one way street.
it's like Borch 3 jackdaws always said. And something shippers do not want to admit. It wont last - simply cuz it's not Geralt who wearing pants in these relationship :D
People that love Yen are book lovers. I didn't play my Geralt like the way he's potrayed in books so I went for Triss, but I do wish Shani was a canon romance option as the 1st game was between her and Triss :(
I find this funny because this video was censored, but literally every other video I’ve ever seen on the Witcher’s ‘sexier’ scenes, has been uncensored. Uploaded for years. Without RUclips touching them.
RUclips has a funny way of enforcing their policies :)
Let's be honest here.
Yen had her relationship or feelings towards Geralt when they were BOTH under the JINN (JINN? DJINN? however you spell it) spell.
Geralt fell in love with Triss even with the Jinn's spell in effect.
#TeamTriss wins.
during the entire game Geralt has been looking for two specific characters (yen and Ciri) .
Even Priscilla's song literally references Geralt's love for Yennefer.
Their relationship dates all the way back to the novels.
Hell during the first cut scene in witcher 3 you see Geralt and yen talking over Ciri like their own daughter.
Sorry pal but Yennefer has always been Geralt's true love no matter how much you try to twist.
Younes Haffadi Doesn’t matter it’s the player’s choice. I like Yen as a character but dating/marrying her in real life would drive me insane. That’s why I choose Triss.
@@zachrobinson6801 marrying her would drive you insane, but for a mutated witcher it's a different story
Also yes she is bitchy and self centered, but she genuiny loves geralt and he does as well.
Younes Haffadi No for a Witcher it would be just as bad too since they will most likely live for centuries.
At least with Triss those centuries would be peaceful and not constant bickering between the two. He even says that in the game when romancing Triss.
Younes Haffadi I’ve read the books. And it doesn’t matter the only canon choice is whatever we decide since the entire game series isn’t canon.
it's weird that Triss says she needs to "blow off some steam" after dealing with the Witch Hunters. "Blow off steam" is a locomotive term from Industrial era and this is supposed to be set in the middle ages. Blowing off steam shouldn't mean anything to her or anyone else in that time
16:06
Triss: Just chilling here, setting myself on fire
I understand why Yennefer has a bigger role in the story since she's as much of a mother to Ciri as Geralt is his adoptive dad (and technically, she's the canon choice), but it kinda sucks that Triss doesn't get a bigger role or involvement if we pick her, hopefully they fix this in a sequel if they ever make one
The game kinda reflects the books in that regard, as triss wasn't big in the books either.
1:42:40 Right there, that's why I prefer Triss, she was willing to Sacrifice her own Happiness for Him (That's True Love)
Triss is fantastic, loving, caring, not a bad bone in her body, unlike Yenn
In my first playthrough i romanced neither #TeamVernonRoche
Roberts D. I romanced both, fml

@@themudpit621 by that logic you might as well play a game with no story at all
Tell me if you guys think the following scenarios = the best ending possible for Witcher 3.
1: Ciri follows in Geralt's footsteps and becomes a witcher.
2: Geralts dumps Yennefer and successfully romances Triss. Whereas Yen would force Geralt to give up the witcher life, Tris would support his trade and keep the house clean while she waits for him to return home, knowing that his line of work is guaranteed to produce coin.
3: King Radovid dies, effectively giving Nilfgaard control over Novigrad, changing it's name back to Temeria. Not only do sorceresses and non-humans stop being hunted for the crime of existing, the Emporer also allows the locals to live a freer life under Nilfgaard than they'd ever be able to under Radovid's rule.
4: Cerys an Crate becomes Queen of Skellige. Instead of looking to other lands for riches unknown she looks inward, to her people, to cultivate their rich lands and thus create a local economy that never would have existed if she never became queen.
To me, that is the best possible ending for the main story. Tell me what you think by leaving a like or posting a reply. I'm eager to see what everyone else thinks.
11:50 What a beautiful Smile
indeed
This is the Triss I'll always love.
15:40 haha Triss waving fire casually is an interesting bug for sure!
Yen needed a wish to be with Geralt while Triss already loved Geralt but needed to use magic to seduce Geralt. Yen was still harsh to Geralt while Triss was only reassuring. Geralt in the end only saw Triss to blame while forgetting his relationship with Yen was artificial. Not because Geralt loved Yen, but because Yen was first Geralt had an intimate bound with. Geralt never realized he only chased a fleeing heart while ignoring Triss real emotions.
@@peacefusion I agree with some of your facts, except for one thing, Triss did not have time to use magic for seduction, even though she initially planned it, Geralt himself immediately surrendered to her and she too, immediately after the event when Geralt finally quarreled with Yen, he was morally depressed. What Indeed, at that moment Triss decided to calm him down, sharing his pain and suffering, even in an intimate way. And one more fact with which I completely disagree with you.... In Geralt’s life, if we take into account the fact that Yennefer is the first sorceress in his life with whom he had an intimate relationship, then perhaps you are right, And if we talk among women , then no. He could also have had an intimate relationship with Renfri, just like with other whores from brothels, before meeting Yennefer. And in general, even before meeting Yen, the witcher himself had a weakness for sorceresses throughout his life. I can say that if Triss had found herself in a difficult situation with the genie instead of Yen, he would have also provided the same service for her, or perhaps for other sorceresses such as Philippa, Fringilla, etc. This fact should not be ignored. Yennefer is saved by only two facts... The magic of the genie and Ciri. Ciri is like a life-saving pillow that Triss herself provided, if you carefully read the book “Blood of Elves”. If it weren’t for these facts, then Triss would have been with Geralt a long time ago and perhaps they would have had their own family life and there would have been no conflict between the two sorceresses. And Yen herself would have been no better than even Philippa and would still have remained with Istredd or with Crach, who knows. As for the rest of what you wrote, I don’t argue. As if under the influence of the genie's spell, Geralt really did not notice true love in relation to Triss, he was drawn to Yen and he thought about her And she constantly appeared in his dreams, even despite a completely unhealthy relationship and they always diverged and converged only thanks to the magic of the creature from bottle.
Despite Dijkstra being a generally miserable, guy I always thought it was sweet the way he said “No time for courtesies dear” when triss was about to leave for Kovir with the other mages
