      Wow. What a life ! While I have lived a life filled with adventures all over the world, it pales in comparison to the amazing people Mr. Lundgren met and interacted with, his adventures. Then again, I'm not a genius which Mr. Lundgren clearly is. (And I agree that luck was also involved.) 🙂

    I love Dolph Lundgren. Although he’s extremely intelligent, talented, crazy athletic and has had an awesome past. He’s still absolutely hilarious and down to earth about it all.

    The more I learn about this guy, the more I like him. I grew up thinking he was the “Soviet bad guy” from Rocky IV. There’s so much more to him.

      Not only did he went to MIT, but he also got a full scholarship , while he already had a master´s degree in chemical engineering from a prestigious university in Sweden and while being a high-level competitive Karate athlete at the time! ( he won a European Karate championship)

    I had no idea he was up for Running Man..that would have worked too but Arnold was the better choice. If they dont have Arnold they couldnt have done the "Hey Killian..I'll be back"..."Only in a rerun" line.

      Actually Christopher Reeve started to shoot the movie The Running Man with director Andrew Davis who later on did Under Siege and The Fugitive but after about a week or so they got fired and replaced by Arnie and director Paul Michael Glaser.

    I really like pentathalon you get to see Dolph in movie with drama, action and suspense. I love the pace of the movie and it's a real underdog comeback story. The chick in it was hot.

      @@rvog6584 many of Dolph's movies are available on dvd and blu ray, however some of his best movies never received a dvd release at least not in Australia. Some of these movies are available for free on RUclips, Pentathalon is one of them. Just search Pentathalon full movie, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

    Entertainment industry and movies are such crap, that we look for XX Century entertainment, behind the scenes, making of, and anecdotes of the era which is so much more interesting than anything new. We have a limited time with these actors from the time when Hollywood peaked since they are getting up in age, so we need to get these anecdotes now.

    He's not hurting financially, but had he completed his PhD at MIT in chemical engineering and gone on to be CEO of Exxon, his net worth would be far greater than what it is as an actor.
    But hey, he's happy with his choices and that's all that matters.

    Was fascinated that they hired him as an honorary pentathlete to promote that sport, because Pentathlon is definitely one of the five worst movies ever made. Also fascinating that a smart, ambitious, well-reflected guy like him made so many incredibly cheesy, stupid movies.

    Considering Dolph was as good as a lot of the action guys out there, Norris, Segal, Van Damme he should had at least one big thing we all know and love. They never gave him his own Cobra, or Predator or whatever. He did fight that alien guy that lives of your fear, but they never really used him right. Like why wasn't he one of the guys in Predator ? I'm guessing he was too blonde and too good looking to put next to Arnold. He would look like a god next to those guys I'm afraid.
