That'd be like saying Soft Reset shiny hunting is illegally obtaining shiny's because your brute forcing a specific RNG outcome. Then to get even more extreme, KO-ing the Legendary and re-entering the Hall of Fame to respawn the legendary to brute force the RNG to shiny would also be illegal.

I think it’d be so cool if GF gave league competitor ribbons to the Pokemon you use to compete in tournaments. Like “X Regional Competitor” or “2024 Worlds Competitor” ribbons would be sick. They already do promos and stuff like that for the TCG- can’t be that much harder for VGC
This Girafarig deserves that Living Legend title since it likely the only Girafarig in the world that has come from Gen 3 to Gen 9 and has fought in the World Championships!

I want to eventually go to a massive Worlds event because they're never happening where I live! A Pokemon with a special Ribbon would be the cherry on top!
As someone who has a level 1 Donphan, i'd reccomend picking up an Aron instead haha. Getting a low level phanpy is so rare and unlikely that its borderline a mirage Also ive got an easier way of getting itemfinder mark, a lot of land based pokemon will get on a floatie when you go in water, and it does a pretty good job at keeping up with you. Then you just take a cruise around the Coastal Biome or Casseroya Lake (if you dont mind Veluza swarming you)
Or the low framerate lmao I use Paradise Barrens all the time for it. Really any DLC area is so chonky with items I'm surprised there isn't a Lost 'n Found for them (since canonically items you pick up off the ground belong to previous trainers iirc). But Paradise Barrens also have Rare Bones literally every 3 steps which is why I prefer it.

With the Aron/Aromatisse team for the battle tree, I ran shell bell on Aron as I found it to be more consistent than berry juice. Berry juice does have its perks though.

Hey there! Just wanted to say thanks for like, the third time for helping me on the RIbbon master thing for Alola. I'd like to share some of the strats I had for the Battle Tree Master ribbon- I used a Spritzee with Eviolite instead of Aromatisse since I didn't have a second 3ds to get the traded evolution, it's surprisingly tanky if you give it an eviolite and most of the time Dazzling Gleam doesn't needs to deal that much damage thanks to Aron's endeavor, on that nove having the Spritzee status'd isn't too much of a loss since it'll likely still take a few hits before going down while giving Aron and the other Pokémon a bunch of opportunites to make a move. I used the same fear Aron set as lead along with the Spritzee as you told me in the video with a 252HP and 252SpAtk Delphox as backup, the Delphox uses WIll-o-Wisp and Mystical Fire and substitute to sponge hits, Psychic for coverage and holds a Sitrus Berry and has the Magician ability that activates when Sitrus Berry is used. The subject for the Alola ribbons was a full odds shiny Raticate I got in Crystal, it had the Hidden Ability Hustle and had Double-Edge with Normalium-Z as it's best move since it bypasses the accuracy check from Hustle. Nice hunting on all other gens y'all!
So impressive. I still have plans to do this myself with a Snorlax or Ralts from Gen 3, and seeing videos like this one reminds me of how awesome that would be to do.

How can a Togetic learn Follow me at level 2 in DPPT? I've seen this team before and tried to create it, but the earliest level it learns it is level 24.
In Generation 6 the 40 Contest Ribbons and 8 Battle Tower Ribbons are folded into two ribbons called the Contest Memory and Battle Memory Ribbon respectively that have a counter to track how many they had, so it ends up being 42 visible + 48
As someone who plays VGC and makes their Pokemon legitimately and not with PkHex like most top competitors, I can see the appeal of the 0 Attack IV but it is extremely irrelevant. Foul Play is not common and a good player would be wise to not even hit a special attacker with it in the first place. Second, confusion isn’t very common in VGC and said scenario hardly comes up.

They only put tournament ribbons on distribution Pokemon these days, though you could win ribbons at tournaments in the early 2000s

The Kalos Champion Ribbon is the only one that we couldn't also grab in ORAS, so I just briefly mentioned it alongside the Hoenn Champion Ribbon
