Judgment Day is here!.This is the ultimate boss of the game, the next and last one is no problem.
*Gaia Core*
There are three of these shaped as two little pillars and a big one. The two little ones are the problem. They'll summon
Gaia Snakes and use them wipe out your party really quickly. You need to get rid of them ASAP!!! And
use "MidAir Cut", "Redshock", "Doppelganger" and "Zap! Whip" do much of HP reducing. Especially Justin's
"MidAir Cut" is deadly important since Justin is by far the strongest if you took the right training!
*Evil Gaia*
Its snooze is freaking annoying especially if all you party is asleep. It really doesn't have any attacks to worry about.

oh good. the boss that turned a light hearted rpg into a h o r r o r g a m e
could have finished him off with a cooler move, "Gaidwins secret move,ha!"
I give up, I just can't beat this boss. It was a cool & fun journey though, I guess I'll just watch the ending here on RUclips.
You have to defeat the mega Gaias so you don’t get overrun, have rapp attack them with his moves or use all out physical attacks/ spells. The core itself is a pushover damage sponge that’ll cast the occasional spell. Keep liete and Feena on support and just go ham with attacks

@@tohtoriTurvotus the key is getting everyone with all their skills and magic unlocked. before you go to j base, there are secret dungeons that you can train with. The tower of temptation is the most challenging but most rewarding. After gaia awakens, the Savannah becomes an endless crawling ground of gaia enemies. that can be used to train until everyone is at the right level
Is there a OST for the skull Gaia battle? I cant seem to find it anywhere on You Tube but it sounds kickass

Whats up with evil gaia? He/she are from grandia world what zophar is for lunar world? Basicaly a enty by pure n simple destruction?
I remember when I fought Evil Gaia I literally unly used Combo attacks, yes even with Liete after I realized that it only uses 1st level spells and cant do anything to me.
Yeah it’s just a damage sponge. Gaia Baal and the core were the real battles
How on earth does your copy of this game move so flowingly? My copy and every one else's I've seen has a lot of lag in it. Is it the game even? Or is it the TV? The console?
Depends on the version, I suppose. Judging by how things move, I'd wager that this is the Saturn version. The Saturn was almost always more fluid than the PS1, owing to it being slightly more powerful in general, and not being limited to integers when processing multi-core data.
Less nerdy version: It's the better version of the game, from the looks of it.

***** Actually, it appears I was wrong. This is the PS1 version, but played on an emulator. It takes a decent PC to run this game at so high a resolution while recording at the same time.
No wonder people emulate if awesome stuff like this happens to them.
I wish there was a Grandia movie or a Grandia Netflix original series.

Who would've thought this game and II would both have easy bosses at the very end? Though Zera Valmar doesn't use elementary spells. I was thinking these spells might hurt a ton still... That'd be kinda funny (but I guess they don't go off a mental stat or w/e)...
Kicked it and Baal/Gaia's ass with Liete at max atk!
I dont consider this boss easily at all, it requires so much damn grinding to have all those spells and skill points
gosh i haven't played this for soo long and i manage to find my ps1 disc but only disc one :(
Man I remember the hours of trying to beat the final final boss. Saw a couple of moves I never got but I only played it the one time so meh
So it has 9,999 hp.
You can buy it at eBay if you want to play it again that's how I got it I got mine for $40
I got it on PSN, but I admit it's got a cool manual!
I'll probably even get the Saturn version pretty soon.
