I’ve had the 2rs for a couple weeks. Absolutely love it. Been driving Ford Escapes for the last couple years. Had 3 of them. Traded in my 21 escape. Don’t regret it at all.
@@dave1956 why do that instead of just buying the right brand from the start lol don't have any of those services for my mazdas that doesn't have a turbo and I past traxs like it nothing 🤣
@@cormaro13 The right brand is subjective. I worked in the collision repair industry for 44 years. I have driven everything from a Pacer to a Yugo to a Mercedes. I haven’t owned an American car since 1983. I am now retired and drive about 5,000 miles per year, all of it locally. If I was still working, driving 20,000 miles per year I would feel differently.
@@dave1956 yes subjective but still lots of data to support the claim , they been on top for the reliability charts for years But if u haven't bought American I Stay with that , they haven't gotten any better lol
The car doesn't drive itself, it's a safety feature to jerk the steering wheel and sets off a warning buzzer. This warns you you're going off the road or into oncoming traffic. It might drive down the road, but you're going to be like a pinball bouncing from white line to yellow. That's how the corrective steering works, it senses the white line on the right side of the road, the yellow line on the left side of road.
My friend is a master mechanic. He told me the most important thing you can do with this vehicle is to change the oil every 3000 miles using a 100% full synthetic. The 3 cylinder motor gets very hot and the Turbo made by Borg Warner is a very good high quality Turbo. The turbo is hot that's why the frequent oil changes are required. If you do this he told me you shouldn't have any engine related problems with this vehicle.
Dope video im about to purchase a 2RS also and for the price it cant be beat .and yea if you live in Charlotte just like me all the safety features do help because as we know people in our city cant drive worth a dam 😂😂
For a 21k base price give GM credit for this new Trax, only downside is (Wet timing belt) should have used a timing chain which is more durable.........
Wait til that low quality starts showing big boy , modeules are going to go out , back up cam disappears , then your car dies in the driveway cause it couldnt finish the update 😂😂
That's funny. Actually it's been making me $$ cuz im using it for ridesharing. And the passengers all love and compliment it. So far so good. You might be right. I have confidence in my warranty plan. fingers crossed tho👍
I love this 2RS Trax!
@@Living4JC thank you 💯
I love your trax reviews. Please keep us updated as the miles go up. Thanks.

I have the Trax 1RS with those same features and I truly enjoy driving my fountain blue everyday crossover. Thanks for sharing 💙🖤
I'm going to look at the Trax! How quiet is the cabin and seat comfort? They look great and are priced right. Thanks! 😊
Great video, but seriously, put the phone down and drive. LOL. Good thing you have all those safety features.
Lol had to test out the safety features, just in case 😅 but back to normal driving for me. Thx for your feedback
I have a 2RS as well and is great. Thanks for teaching me the lane assist and adaptive cruise control.
Awesome to hear. Yeah them safety features do come in handy. Enjoy your ride 💯
I watched this video and it makes me want to buy a 2RS Trax more than I already do!

I want one of these but in that red color
It shows you manufacturers can build an affordable quality vehicle under $25,000
Did you have to pay extra for the cruise control?
@@BellaBeeBaby nope it's standard on all their models
I have the same Trax, but no charge pad or sunroof. A lot of get up and go. Sound system is awesome.
I actually test drive one of these and i actually love it im getting myself the active trim
Good choice. I like the Activ. Maybe we can switch up one day 😉
