Important points - 1) Yes the customer has full right to get self insurance done. 2) But , after accident there is going to be a very hectic process for the owner as there will be no cashless settlement. Also , very good luck for parts replacement...thora sa agar sratch and dent hai...replacement nahi denge bahar ke insurance companies 3) Stay away from reliance insurance be it purchased from online or showroom. .worst company of all time.. Their sales is good but after sales - even dealers are fed up with settlement. 4) India’s best insurance company according to me is ICICI lombard..

Bhai tumne Jo bhi add on cover nikal diye vo tum ICICI ke insurance se bhi nikal sakte they aur bad main dono ka price same hi ho jata. Plus tumne two imp add on insurance main leave kar diye. Engine protect and consumable cover. It's a mistake. You should realise when there has been claim if any accidental damage happens. At that time no one support you in claim process. That is for sure. RSA chod Diya ok.
I bought insurance from dealer itself at 23,500 though slightly expensive but peace of mind will be there
