actually if you watch older korean dramas from the 2000's they have had more scandals then this drama from cheating, abortions, accidents, comas, etc. 😂 I love telenovas too but this drama actually reminds Koreans more of past kdramas. Hence why this show is #1 in South Korea rn.
don’t you guys feel complicated things watching this? like, i get scared and anxious wanting to know what will happen next. i get so mad at some characters that at some points i feel like throwing my laptop away but later i find myself placing my face in front of it watching this drama again 😂

@@betinaaksoz6246 I don’t think it’s fair to say she didn’t care. The kids even said she wasn’t around when they were getting beat which meant the husband was meticulous enough to do it when she wasn’t there. And clearly he didn’t want her to know because he’s tried to paint this perfect image of himself which also makes sense as to why he had a hidden room just to beat them. The only time she really suspected it was when he told her he had to “discipline” them because the kids were “fighting”. You can say she didn’t care because she was dividing her attention between all three kids but disregarding how well her husband wove his lies and deceit is the real issue here and it’s not really fair to blame the mom when she too is a victim. Then again, I’m only a couple of episodes in so I don’t know if anything changes between now and then🤷🏾♀️
As much as people hate some of the characters, it really just shows how amazing the actors and actresses execute their role. After the latest ep, Kim So Yeon deserves that daesang

They didn't see her coming. The chairman's wife gave them a knockout punch. She took their breath away with her revelation.
This is by far the best Kdrama of 2020-2021 to date. No boring episodes, spectacular actors, and a rollercoaster of emotions, and the story line is superb! Bravo to all the actors! You can either hate or love them but they are all great actors.
Nah cause when u say no boring episodes for realll . I was just shocked after the first two episodes bc every single second some drama unraveled, it was more dramatic then those cheesy low budget soap operas that Asian moms are obsessed with. U can rlly called it a Korean DRAMA
Kim So Yeon and Lee Ji Ah are the perfect contrast of each other’s character, both play their roles so well.

The things the chairman's done to his wife out of greed are truly awful. Seo Jin is as crazy as Ju Dan Tae is. They deserve to be toppled. This show keeps getting deeper and deeper. Can't wait for the next episodes 😍

It's a famous actress Lee Ji Ah, I watched her on Beethoven Virus for the first time in 2008. Taeyeon did OST for this drama and it was very popular. She was also married to Seo Taiji.

i'm watching vincenzo and penthouse at the same time (sis is abit slow in the game i know) and omg penthouse just sucks your attention in for some reason, its like a regular kdrama on steroids, the psychological corruption reminds me so much of parasite, but we all know that the corruption originate for different reasons.... LOVE it can't wait for s3 already but i havent even finished the first season LOL
