I nearly cried when Suryeon died, since that she's the only character I like in the show. I believe that Suryeon did not die and the one would be the twins' actual mother, who looks strikingly similar to Suryeon herself. Trust me, the only 'good' character in the show is actually Seol-ah. The rest of the cast are actually 'evil', not even Suryeon herself.
In short, since that this is only Season 1, I am suspecting that Yoon-hee and Suryeon will still survive, considering they are part of the main cast. Unless K-Dramas has the tendencies to kill off their main cast, that is?

I agree with your assumption. I think our queen is still alive. She will never let his ex husband ruin everything she has sacrificed. Her revenge is better than anyone else. But if our assumption is wrong, well let's just accept that sometimes villain stays in the end most especially in this type of drama.

I'm really adore Su Ryeon for surviving a miserable life and her plan of revenge and I really love to see how she act like an innocent,graceful, and a face don't know anything in front of joo Dan Tae. And my favorite part is when Dan Tae get fooled by Su Ryeon
CHEONG SEO JIN is a person who always wants to be great. She does anything to crave people attention, likely she just cant withstand when people praise someone in front of her and she goes to any extent (even killing) to get it back....
Her main targets are OH YOON NEE (so SEO JIN took her Grand trophy, her love- HA YOON CHUL and even tried to do same to BAE RO NA .......) and SIM SU RYEON ( so SEO JIN took grabbed husband and even tried to kill her love-LOGAN LEE......)
The worst part is SEO JIN killed her own father for company, killed her own husband, and she even betrayed her own daughter. CHEONG SEO JIN is the most selfish and badass bitch after JOO DAN TAE !!!!

Shim su ryeon is so smart she will do everything for her daughter... I don't usually watch this kind of genre but I kinda like it because it has a lot of plot twist to it...and shim su ryeon is my favorite character and Yoon hee also... And my favorite teenage character is seok hoon and Bae Rona the two love birds ❤️😍💕
SURYEON WAS THE ONLY THING I HAD GOING FOR ME IN THISE DRAMA OMG NOOOO SHE CANT BE DEAD. She was WAYYY too clever and cunning to be killed off that easily. I refuse to believe that she actually died. But at the same time the death looked wayyy too believable 🥺 The writers better have something EPIC planned out cause they literally just killed off the most favorited character 😭😭

I think Shim Su Ryeon is not dead, but the person who died is the 'twin' of Shim Su Ryeon. which reinforces this theory is, when shim su ryeon received a call from Ms. Yang, visible on the ring finger of his left hand is a wedding ring. Meanwhile, when this 'shim su ryeon' lay after being killed, there was no visible wedding ring on the ring finger of his left hand. correct me if it is wrong, and once again I affirm this is just my opinion 🙏

Idk where I saw that comment saying that suryeon didn't die because she was not wearing her ring which was with her before she died. I checked it out and I can't believe what she said was righhhhttt. If you noticed, when ms. Yang called her that the twins were once again brought to dantae's study room, she was wearing two rings but when yeon hee hugged her, there were no rings. Also, when she said run away, I remembered that she was trying to escape from Dan tae 2 years ago and I think she was saying it to herself. Idk

To be honest, i was very disappointed with this series. Su Ryeon spent so many episodes preparing for her revenge but the creators of this series had the audacity of ending the season by killing her! Without evem giving her revenge a success! What the hell! Think i'd still watch season 2? Nah. Thanks anyway.
The scriptwriter for this drama is famous for bringing back dead people to life.
There are two more seasons for this drama and imagine if they did a plot twist that Oh Yoon Hee is not the murderer of Min Seol A-

Su ryeon revenge is also road to create another monster....seok kyung ....she contributed the hate....but ofc no one will agree ...but su ryeon is not a good mother ....she was never that caring to the twins just being greatful that she can have her baby in return that is why she admit her being vulnerable probably she lost her mother and cannot depend any one that is why she accept dan tae ...if only she really cared more for them she would have known that the twins was abuse all along ...it is odd and weird you live together but as a wife and a step mother never knew what happen to her twins that is really weird but it was to late to say or save the twins probably the violent act by the twins can be handle she is after all their step mother eventhough the twins is not related to her but by marrying their dan tae....they have bitter feeling to dan tae and their mom who was their step mom cannot help them so it is obvious that the twins depend each other if the adults is busy with themselves....dan tae witth his business and su ryeon with hye in....i mean remembering the old days must have happen before the twins knew about hye in after that everything change....why did the maid have to share the truth of su ryeon being the step mom know what is her motive? is it related to the butterfly tattooed woman? who knows....su ryeon choose to neglect her twins and continue her revenge to the evil parents of hera by trapping the kids in the hera palace to let them see that what they did to min seol A was wrong it shows ofc in the end she choose to let go of the twins when she did the bus trap revenge that is why the rating is +19 plus because what logan and su ryeon did is not a good thing instead of sending evidence to the police she force the kids....logan lee trapping the kids in hera is really an act of violence as well so as su ryeon did to the evil parents as well as what happen to min seol A in the bus yard as well as the maintenance trap....so eventually everyone is doing violent thing....yes despite them being cruel to see how she torture them....i really donot understand why kim soon-ok choose this extreme way ....lucky the hera children were all adults not real children except for bae ro na that is why she is not among the hera children....so su ryeon is also the same as cheon seo jin in the making of another monster which is seok kyung....so it is so obvious that probably seok kyung will do bad things she has the examples from dan tae and su ryeon....you cannot blame children....an abusive children physically and mentally like the twins and eun byeol will tend to be a violent kids ir mentally ill that is why they need theraphy....even adukts like seo jin with her mentally abusive dather and probably dan tae....too bad people donot know the bad effect of bad parenting and neglect and if you married to a widower then you should contribute to so su ryeon actually contributed all this tragedy as well ...as for yoon hee she is an opportunist if she has no regret to kill min seol A for ger daughter bae ro na then i donot believe she will take revenge for su ryeon ....the footage show she went to go after seo jin when all the idea was from dan tae so a bit weird when she still harrased seo jin when she was supposed to focus in dan tae ....i mean she betray su ryeon not once but twice....who knows she will do the same thing if dan tae offered her something than logan did ....su ryeon is obvious does not come from an abusive family so she is dark by her iwn choice as for dan tae...seo jin and yoon hee became sark becaauae of curcumstances....eventually no one is good in penthouse....all about desire either bad or good and the drama also showed that law and order is not a powerful tool instead taking everything into their own hands even for logan and su ryeon they call the cops after all the ciolent that they also did....one more thing logan lee did one fatal mistake which a fake document was considered as legal document to put down dan tae gosh i know this is for plot but that is really a typical stupid detective thing ....LOL....all detective drama or movie did this stupid move
Even if Su Ryeon doesn't come from abusive family, Dan Tae already ruin her life. Did you forget the fact that Dan Tae kill her husband, then exchange her child and even tried to kill her, and he manipulate Su Ryeon to marry him (he act like didn't do anything wrong) and after that he is cheating with seo jin...
And the day when Su Ryeon found out min seol ah is her real daughter, she have to see her daughter falling from heights and die.
And in the end Dan Tae throw away su ryeon by killing her...
So the point is if Dan Tae doesn't exist, many people will life in peace... Min seol ah Will have a happy harmony family, Su Ryeon will life her life with her lovely husband, seo jin's life will not get any worse since she will inherited her father's company with her father's agreement and won't get caught on Dan Tae's trap, and there's still SoOoOoOoO many many many people will life in peace...
