one more question how do I make good black metal riffs on my own I been struggling to do that and for some reason I can download the amped roots I’m going to try garage band but how can I make a good black metal riff I want something like mayhem and burzum style but i can’t seem to do it I’m not going to do there riffs but I want something like that but my with my own riffs

Stick with it. As Dev says below, the videos in this series will help a lot. Try playing along with the videos too. It doesn't matter how badly you play them (sorry Dev! Speaking from small-handed experience 🙂), you will probably hit upon something you like, and then expand on that. The same principle goes with trying to play along to songs. A badly played, out of time attempt at a Burzum riff could open up endless possibilities.
