Awesome video, I'm preparing to run this myself as my first time DM'ing. Excited to see how it turns out.

If you need a reason for Crinkle to not reveal that she has the book, I think the idea that she's afraid she'll be fired for stealing it will suffice. It may not be obvious to her that the book is necessary to save everyone's lives.

Man I ran across your video hours away from running this as part of a session. Great job!!

The song you picked for this was perfect. I think other video game classics like maybe the lost woods theme from ocarina of time could be good.

Getting a party to attack each other is hard, but if you’re willing to kill 60 seconds on an emotional tirade after turning down the music you be good

This is the adventure I’m most excited to run.

Crinkle could be hiding the book because the curse is compelling her to hid it. As a means to protect the book until shimshine is released. She doesn't know he will just that she feels compelled to protect it from everyone.

Crinkle doesn’t reveal the book because she stole it.

Great Video! is there a link to that colored version of the map?

I have found that a good reason Crinkle cannot talk about Shemshime's has to do with how Kenku can talk. From Volo's "Although unable to speak in their own voices, kenku can perfectly mimic any sound they hear, from a halfling’s voice to the noise of rocks clattering down a hillside. However, kenku cannot create new sounds and can communicate only by using sounds they have heard. Most kenku use a combination of overheard phrases and sound effects to convey their ideas and thoughts."

I was hoping to join the discord and grab the colored version of the map, but the link is invalid. Does it need updating? Great video btw (:

Ok, a few errors. First K'Tulah the tabaxi is a female not male. Clearly states that in the book. Secondly the table only weights 300 pound so not able to crush.
Crinkle is a bit of a kleptomaniac as proved by having Ebder's late wife's wedding ring obviously stolen from under his bed. So would not own up to having the book easily.
This story is very good for letting the DM set the pace and duration of the season if used properly. 8/10
