    I have to admit, this fight was really what made me lose all respect for Malik Scott. I looked past the Wilder dive, due to the fact that I liked him as a fighter. He was once a very interesting upcoming prospect and started to jump up the Heavyweight ladder, providing tricky challenges for his opponents, but sadly something changed in him. He lost interest maybe? He lost his heart? Perhaps he doesn't really want to risk his life for this? He knows Boxing. He is a historian of sorts and he is in fact a decent trainer with excellent skills, but I couldn't support him after this. It is kind of frustrating to think what could have been with Malik, but unfortunately what became of him was utter trash in the end.

      You do realize lower lever boxers turned trainers are way better than top level boxers, right? The same goes for other sports, usually when an elite lever athlete turns to coaching/training, they are not good. Most of the best trainers in boxing either never boxed or were not elite fighters when they did box. Just look at the list of lower level boxers who were great trainers, Freddie Roach, Emanuel Steward, Teddy Atlas, Roger, Jeff and Floyd Mayweather, Eddie Futch, Cus D'Amato etc, were all lower level boxers, and most never even made it to professional boxing, but they were great trainers. There is a reason why you do not see too many elite athletes coaching and training, and when you do they usually fail. For some reason elite athletes just do not seem to have a knack for training or coaching. Sure LeBron may be great, but I would not let him teach me how to play, I'd pick the 12th man to teach me before LeBron. I honestly think it has to do with lower level talents actually being able to examine the sport and learning how to really do it. For example, Malik Scott is for sure watching more tape that someone like Fury, cause Fury has the skills and does not need to watch tape all day long. I'd pick someone like Malik to train me before I'd pick someone like little Floyd to train me, cause Floyd is gonna try to teach me how to start off being great, and Malik is gonna teach me the fundamentals that will make me great. Being the best at anything does not translate into being able to train someone to be the best. Floyd probably could not tell you half of what someone like Malik could tell you. That is not a knock on Floyd, Floyd is naturally talented, so there really is not much Floyd could teach you.

    Wow looking at malik fight eellrun around the ring makes me wonder, what in the hell did wilder think when hired this dude, he cant box, ur getting big to fight the 3rd fight for the title against a great heavyweight name tyson fury and this is the guy you pick to train u, how can any body that fights like that teach you how to fight a guy like fury, now i think wilder didnt wonna win cuz this malik scott is deff not the answer.
    .?

    • @SadiqBoxing

      Nah, this was Maliks last fight, he was a good skilled fighter at one point, even schooled Olympian Glazkov at one point, best Tony Thompson as well, but just lacked heart and would quit in harder fights, ala the Wilder fight, Chisora fight, and this one against Ortiz

      That s not the point! You even critizise football, basketball on pro level, without being able to come close to the pros.
      At the end, this is entertaining, and even being "only" a boxing fan, who p a y s those guys, you can make up your mind!
      And n o o n e is talking BS in the comments a n d I was for 8 years a diver in the german navy.....I know m y stuff dude!!!!😄😄😄

  • @abi1971
    @abi1971 3 года назад +2

    Now I know Deontay is out of his mind... you need to be more aggressive and moving forward to counter fury constant forward movement and you choose someone who only knows how to move backward cowardly for a coach.

    • @SadiqBoxing
      @SadiqBoxing  3 года назад +4

      I don’t agree with you necessarily, because a lot of fighters who weren’t talented became great trainers

    • @jerryalexander8803
      @jerryalexander8803 3 года назад +1

      You can already see the improvements in Wilders game, Malik Scott is very knowledgeable.. Just because he wasn't the best fighter doesn't mean anything about his ability as a trainer, Phil Jackson had a career average of 6 points a game but he's one of the greatest coaches in NBA history..

    • @pandavelli8176
      @pandavelli8176 3 года назад +2

      Well Wilder did look lost trying to box going backwards, and Scott could obviously teach him how to move and jab, stay on his toes, I just don’t think he can beat Fury that way. He has to figure out how to deliver that right hand power clean on TF chin somehow, sitting down on it too, not a quick 2

    The reason Scott was throwing this fight was to make Ortiz the bogeyman that Deontay would eventually fight. How do people not see this? Wilder fans are getting scammed. Same reason why Scott took a dive for Wilder: so he would then go on to preach the gospel of Wilder, and how Wilder is the saviour and hardest hitter of the HW division. Then it turns out MALIK IS LITERALLY ON TEAM WILDER LMAO y'all are really being played by an Onlyfans BBW toe-sucker, yes man, and diver smh wildettes are a little slow

    • @SadiqBoxing
      @SadiqBoxing  3 года назад +1

      I disagree, I thought Scott had the right idea, Deontay gave us a different look in round 1 when he was jabbing to the body but after he ate a right hand at the tail end of the round he just subconsciously left the game plan
