I'm not a Disney fan, but the safari park surprised me. It is such a joy to see the animals roaming free, instead of caged. I travelled overland through Africa. I had the pleasure of seeing so many animals in their natural habitat. I settled in Cape Town, where my daughter was born. I was soon managing a major campaign to save the endangered white Rhino. It was a huge success. I moved back to Europe when my daughter turned 12, but Africa still has my heart. I go back at every opportunity. You would love that continent, especially the Southern areas. My daughter and I have dual Irish/South African citizenship.
I needed a calming break after hearing about the Kar-crash-ians piling on dear, sweet Catherine, Princess of Wales, so I came to watch your safari video again. I love it. I can’t wait to see more footage go up. Honk Honk Jen. Thank you for these moments of sanity tonight. Love to you Jay and the gosling.
Congratulations on your new channel. Well done filming the safari. I took my granddaughter to Disney 25 years ago and we had a great time. We stayed right in Disney World. Love your other channel too. 🥰❤️🇨🇦
Oh my goodness, Jen! That was amazing! I felt like I was in the truck with you. Excellent video work. I’m just so excited to finally get to see this Park. I lived in Orlando from 1969 to 1990. So I was there for the Preview Center, the opening of the Magic Kingdom, and then worked there from 1978-1982 (summers and holidays during college. I went to Rollins) before transferring to EPCOT Center 1982-1990. The Studios opened when I was still working there but the Animal Kingdom was not. I didn’t go back to WDW until 2021 for the 50th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom. The women who were Tour Guides in the 1970’s and early 1980’s had a reunion there. We had so much fun! But, I didn’t have time to see anything other than the Magic Kingdom. You have given me a most precious gift with this video. Thank you so much! I can’t wait for more!! Love to you, Jay, and the sweet gosling. ♥️

I went to Disney for the first time last year and I was SO excited for Animal Kingdom! I drove the safari guide crazy by asking a million questions. Thank you for sharing your love of Disney and animals! #honkhonk💚
Hey Jen. Maybe try to create “Goose Tips” (or Honker Hints? 😂) videos on this channel. Not exclusively, of course, but things like making a family trip to Disney a success. Many don’t live in Florida or go more than 1 or 2 times. You could share your lessons learned. Good luck with the new channel.

Congratulations, Jen!! So excited for you and this was really cool. My family briefly lived in FL but we got to Disney World once in my 10th bday so a looong time ago! You got some really cool video and the tour is awesome. They give a lot of interesting info. Giraffes have 2' hearts?! Elephants can hear 5 miles away?! Great shots of the lions too. Looked up baby ostriches and no lie - adorable. ❤

March, April and early May are my favourite times at Disney World. Right around the first or second week in May is my favourite time to visit. I have so many stories from my visits to Disney, but my favourite is doing a back stage tour here in the Animal Kingdom and getting to toss hay to the elephants. Hi Jen, we got off in the wrong foot months ago. I so enjoyed this video. Having been myself to Florida so many times, what a blast to watch this safari. I'll send it to my Parents in Scotland so they can enjoy too. Thanks for this, I needed a cheer up! 💯🏴🇬🇧😘
Honk honk Jen, loved this!! Thank you for taking us on safari. I love giraffes, elephants and hippo, but oh that lion was gorgeous. I could have sat and watched him for hours. ❤️🦣🦏🦒🦍🦁❤️🪿🪿🪿🪿
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kilimanjaro Safari (if that's what they still call it) and also the ... can't remember the name of the exhibit! with the tigers and so many more animals native to Asia, and a free-flight area I just loved... Back in 2008 (I think) I spent several days going through Animal Kingdom (because I love animals so much too) and Epcot (going to the different countries' restaurants was a favorite thing of mine), and one stormy day I rode the Kilimanjaro Safari SIX TIMES STRAIGHT IN A ROW, because everyone was taking shelter from the rain, but animals don't much mind rain... It was indeed different every single time, as the driver advertises, and the only difference in terms of animals on the safari as far as I can see and remember is that there were Cheetah when I was there, and no African Painted Dogs, otherwise thank you so very much for a lovely trip down memory lane for me... I will tell you though, about the young elephants on one of those six times... One of them got at right angles to the other and started bumping him with his head and whole body, trying -- successfully -- to get the other to go into the pool right next to them... SO lovely and enchanting to watch them like that and the driver saw and paused so we could watch, my heart was so full... One thing I don't know if it still exists: you showed the gorilla exhibit just at the end of Kilimanjaro Safari, I remember you could look WAY down over that fence-barrier, at the water flowing away from the falls, and one of the gorillas would always be down there, because he didn't have to worry about encountering any of the other male gorillas and it was cooler, with the water spray especially, in the heat of summer... And one last thing (though I don't know if you will read this, since the video is already several days old), I spent the money (not a native Floridian) on the special behind the scenes tour (not the one where you see animals, though I saw plenty, but the one where they talk about the design of the entire Animal Kingdom and many aspects of the exhibits)... I have a tendency to monopolise question time with guides, so the night before I prayed (yes) that God would help me keep my mouth shut to allow others to ask their own questions... And the next morning, bright and early, I found that . . . I was the ONLY PERSON ON THAT TOUR THAT MORNING . . . so God answered my prayer in a different way than I expected haha! I enjoyed that so much, and have remembered so much of what they told me about the design of Animal Kingdom, Thank you again so much for sharing this video!
Great video Jen, very relatable tour guide narration. I must admit though that Jurassic Park (the movie) came to mind about halfway through, now I have an earworm of the theme tune! 😂😂😂
Looks like you would have had a show if they had stayed with the giraffes longer! I just recently discovered your other channel and have been binging all of the Harry and Meghan videos, and I LOVE it!

7:41 the hippo was doing its business lol.
Fun!
Great video Jen, very relatable tour guide narration. I must admit though that Jurassic Park (the movie) came to mind about halfway through, now I have an earworm of the theme tune! 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing this Jenn!
The best way to do a safari .. without having to worry about malaria or yellow fever or dengue fever…

Honk honk, Jen. Your video reminds me of our trips to Disney. We camped at Fort Wildernes, we need to go again. All the best for your new adventure.
Thank you so much
Ichetucknee Springs! Where I live is gorgeous
Looks like you would have had a show if they had stayed with the giraffes longer! I just recently discovered your other channel and have been binging all of the Harry and Meghan videos, and I LOVE it!
