"lots of championships"? Doubt it. Morbidelli is an excellent rider, but the current MotoGP championship is full of excellent riders. Look at Enea Bastianini - last year's Moto2 World Champion, and he's stuck at the back of the grid. There's no reason to think that Mark Marquez hasn't got another two or three World Titles in him....then you've got Quartararo, Miller, Bagnaia, Viñales, Mir...in fact there are a lot of riders who could win a championship...and plenty that haven't reached their full potential. I'd love to see Zarco putting in a serious challenge - obviously he's yet to win a race in MotoGP, but it's possible to win a Title with podiums... besides I think that we'll definitely see Zarco on the top step before long. Can Morbidelli win a World Title? Absolutely, given the right support, but I don't think that it's a given that he will win multiple championships when the current field is so strong - possibly the strongest it's ever been.
@@ianmacfarlane1241 True. I agree with this thought. Everyone is a potential champion. But miracles happen my brother. If you look at the history, motogp has always been filled with the best riders but there have been seasons of a rider winning continuously. Take example of the 00s. No one could come close to Valentino Rossi until 2006
@@aatishthapamagar3398 That's exactly the point - while I accept that miracles do happen it's going to be very difficult for anyone to dominate in MotoGP...even Marquez. I don't doubt that someone could win multiple championships, but MotoGP is currently filled with a lot of talented riders, and then there's Moto2. Don't know what kind of ride Sam Lowes would be offered, but Remy Gardner, Raul Fernandez, Marco Bezzecchi, Joe Roberts, Ai Ogura and others are waiting for their chance. And with Moto3, Pedro Acosta may well be in MotoGP in four or five years, and he's possibly as good as we've seen since Marc Marquez. Morbidelli is talented - no question of that, but so are a number of other riders.
I agree with Franco, I work best when I'm the favourite. I think the expectation and pressure helps. Although it does mean that I have high expectations of myself!
Great to know Franco's thoughts about his life and career...But as a frequent listener to the podcast I would like to put some constructive criticism...plz let the rider finish his answer or thoughts that you put up as questions without interrupting him in the middle..I think the person gets lost by not finishing his answer. Also I feel he has lots to speak about. That's where as a listener I or many of us feel irritated... Anyways, big fan of the podcast..
Yeah! Especially the woman's voice very disturbing when interrupting Franco. I only want to hear from him, not her. At least let him finish before next question.
Yamaha must gives him factory motor bikes,if not...his must moves to another factories.hi need full supports for good results,,, From his Indonesian fans 🇮🇩
I think i know the reason behind that number 21, but please somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Franco always used the number 12, because of his birth month. But on his moto2 debut, the number 12 has already taken by Tom Luthi, so he just flipped the number to 21.
Personally I do prefer and perform when everythings is laied out, well organized and in order but that rarely happens in my professional life and I have to do my best in pretty chaotic circumstances sometimes. Away from my professional life I am laid back, keep my hobbies organized and laid the things out. Once you have put everything in place, organized it all it becomes so much easier in many ways. I have always been underdog as through my personality people naturally underestimate me. Also my looks is a big factor in it, so I don't really know how it feels to be the favorite as people always underestimate me.

Wow that new VR46 Academy rider Matto Dunnillo interviewing the veteran VR46 Academy rider is pretty cool. Quite odd Ive never seen him on trach tho.
It would be great if one of the quick fire questions was the reason the rider chose their number
