  • The final episode of 2021. And it’s a big one. Over half an hour of unfiltered Casey Stoner. The two-time MotoGP™ World Champion came to the paddock for the final two races of 2021, and was kind enough to give us a substantial amount of his time fitting around his understandably busy schedule! 🎙️
In this episode, we talk: his entry into the World Championship and how that first year changed his entire outlook on racing, what he thinks of the current crop of MotoGP riders as well as his tips for the future, hat tip Pedro Acosta. We also put that classic pub-chat ‘what if?’ question to him… what if Marc Marquez and Casey Stoner raced each other? This is not an episode to be missed, plenty to be learned about top-flight racing and life from this MotoGP™ Legend! 🤩

Thanks very much for getting this interview done. Given the youth of you both. You must both be very much enthusiasts. Great research.
Long time fan of Casey and old enough to see Gardener win a championship and Mick Doohan absolutely dominate 500's for years.
Was lucky enough to watch Casey at Phillip Island in his last PI race in 2012. Was watching from turn 3, yes Stoner corner, and the man's mastery of a 1000cc 4 stroke was clear! Rear wheel was miles to the right on exit and halfway to turn 4, the control obvious. I watched as Dani and Jorge chased in vain. If memory serves, Dani went down into turn 4 early in the race chasing hard, and Jorge knew, on this day, on his home track, Casey was unbeatable.
Also Interesting to hear Casey's perspective re Mick Doohan's record. Reminds me of Mathew Hayden / Don Bradman. Casey Stoner, another Australian legend of whom I am, and I suspect many Australians are, very proud.
As an aside whilst at PI in 2012. Some of the punters were telling me to watch out for this new young kid, Jack Miller. Haha. Thanks again for your coverage.

    Yes, Mick is astonishing.
It's really interning how Doohan and Stoner approach motor racing the same way. Legends being methodical, not breezing on the speed.
What is the link to the 'Rusty' interview with him? CS is such a legend. Rossi would never give a place away. He took so many last corners though sand and won championships because of it. Marshalls should have penalised those times.
Rossi said he's never seen a guy with more raw talent than anyone he's ever seen.
