Saw this in the cinema, I think. An odd romcom/Xmas film - it felt like after the 2nd visit (out of 4) there wasn't much point in doing 2 more. But they did, and the whole thing kind of just fizzled out. Another Vince Vaughan shocker!
It is amazing how the writers of commercialised, right-wing American films + TV write commercialised, right-wing films + TV shows condemning right-wing, commercialist values and the plots make sense on any level. I can't help but admire that.
i watched it on a flight, i thought the best part of the movie is when reese gets vomit by the baby and vince almost vomits himself, i thougth that was hilarious!
Well, they were right in their assessment, but did they have to take so long to say so? (Spit it out, man!) I've seen everyone in this picture actually being funny (in, y'know, OTHER movies), EXCEPT for Vince Vaughn. Haven't seen a lot of his work, but I can't even picture him being anywhere near funny. What a horror show - he makes Will Ferrell (the man who works harder at being funny with less results than almost anyone I've ever seen) look like a comic genius by comparison.

This movie was so bad that even though I like Kermode he didn't need to waste 9 minutes on this movie.
Thats exactly where i stopped watching if they were my family i would tell people i was adopted.
Saw 4 Christmases maybe it got better but i stopped watching after they visited his family as it was so annoying.
