    Great race dude! , hope we can race again soon, it is always a pleasure to have clean races, regardless of the outcome, next time ill be more agressive and go for the win haha keep working hard with the yt channel, good content bro.
    English isnt my native language so, hope u can understand what im saying.
    Greetings from Chile

      Lol! I was wondering if you would watch (or comment) on the vid. Your English is great- no worries.
      But lmao when we meet up again and race in something with more grip, we can be more aggressive. I understand why you didn't want to overdrive the car, because those things are TOUGH to drive... Especially for that long without crashing. Lol.
      But awesome race my friend, and thanks for the support on the channel!

    Another good video. I certainly wouldnt say that youre driving like a noob at all. Youre showng all the right things that a good racer should do. Your defensive lines are spot on and your mindset of not pushing things too hard all the time is something that a lot of players could learn something from. Patience is the key to good results. Your overall pace is definitely petty quick and its consistent so with these things in mind youll do well. Hope to meet you in a lobby for some good racing some day.

    +1 sub. Great videos and content in general, i discovered your Forza content not so long ago and must admit your driving skills are pretty solid and consistency you put through your driving is really interesting. Keep up the good work!

      Ahh well, welcome to the channel! Happy to have you with us!
      Yeah I mean I was kinda bad at circuit racing on FM7 so, since this game came out, I’ve been really focused on being faster and more consistent.
      I think it will be fun to continue playing and uploading, and then see how far I’ve come in a year or two.
      Sometimes I drive terribly still, which I really wanted to emphasize in this video. Some people called me noob in my previous videos (which is fine, I don’t care), and some people who enjoyed my driving wanted to race but thought they couldn’t compete with me (which is not true).
      I just want to be transparent and have some fun, so I appreciate all of the support and positivity! Thank you for watching and commenting! 😀

    For qualifying, if you fuck it up before the lap starts like in the audi, you can choose exit> exit qualifying, that way you wont use an attempt to restart and get fresh tires for the next run

    • @T30Drifts
      @T30Drifts  Год назад +1

      Yeah that’s a good point. Well, I didn’t show it, but I’m the quali I actually think I kept it on the track (in the final corner) every time. The part I showed was just practice, so I was ok to do a “skip lap”.
      But I’ll definitely keep that in mind! Could be useful for sure! Thank you for the tip!
      Thanks for watching and commenting too!

    The curse of the audio issues. RIP me. I'm sorry about the audio levels not being mixed properly. People have already pointed it out- and they are right. I'm going to work on my audio quality and video quality will be next. Thanks for understanding, everyone!
    Thank you for watching, LIKING, SUBSCRIBING, and commenting your feedback/thoughts.
    If you enjoyed this, then you'll LOVE my last video where I take on the NEW CIRCUIT YAS MARINA... And I did it in hood-cam. My racing wasn't great, but at least you get a very close POV of the PURE CARNAGE that ensued!

    I like the video series idea, thought of doing this myself. One suggestion: normalize your audio to the same level and/or use compression etc to keep your commentary all at the same apparent volume.

    I think I’ve seen you before in a lobby. Tbh to get good just drive in tunes from the pro players. They’ll be undrivable at first but fast tunes will get you top times when you learn the difficult driving style. Good tunes will only get you so far.

    • @T30Drifts
      @T30Drifts  Год назад +1

      Oh no, I’m sorry you had to witness me in a lobby (maybe?). 😂 Lmao no but you’re right. Tuning definitely makes a massive difference.
      Eventually I’ll check out some tunes and show everyone what I’m using. We can kinda test it here on the channel.

      I was more saying just asking the top guys or former esports pros for their tune numbers then getting faster off of that. Only best way to get fast quick imo.

      Nah you’re completely right.
      I mean, my mic is ok, but my settings were all screwed up for this video. My fault for sure, but I’m going to practice EQ and mixing so that it (hopefully) sounds better as I continue recording and editing.

    question for ya, How much difference does sim steering make on controller? It looks too risky to run instead of normal steering

    • @T30Drifts
      @T30Drifts  Год назад +4

      I don’t know, I always use sim, I think it feels best! It’s more responsive, but yeah- you have to be a little bit more careful.
      I think it used to truly turn the wheel exactly as much input as you give it, but now it’s like “normal+” steering, if that makes sense. It still seems to help and correct you quite a bit.
      Give it a try and let me know what you think!

    Good driving those early race cars are hard to drive imo. I’ve tried manual In this game and idk how I feel about it. I stick to automatic atm but I wanna work with manual. Because you have better control.

    • @T30Drifts
      @T30Drifts  Год назад

      Yeah definitely agree with you!
      The 60’s Formula cars need a LOT of patience and smooth inputs. Every time you steer it has to be very small movements and same with brake and gas.. challenging!!… but fun.
      Manual with no clutch is pretty easy to get the hang of. If you play it for a few hours you’ll probably never go back to auto!

      I enjoyed it! Not my usual car types to race, but definitely fun learning the car and I have a better understanding of Mugello now.
      The funny thing is, I went straight into the Forza GT race after Mugello, which I think is why I turned in too early at Maple valley twice in a row… just goes to show how much faster the GT cars change direction.

    • @anthonyduffy6953
      @anthonyduffy6953 Год назад +1

      @@T30Drifts yeah the GT cars change direction like a flea in comparison to them. The formula 60s are all about the balancing of throttle and steering and I like how engaged it keeps you driving them

      Anyways, as you saw in the first few clips, I had a very rough week and I was down to about A safety, and something like 4,500/4,600 skill. I haven’t checked since this video. It seems like it usually takes a day or so to update your skill and safety.(?)
      We can definitely get some races together soon. I have a couple other people that have been wanting to race, so I’ll have to make the discord active again and set that up!

    Question for you, do you drive a manual car in real life? I feel like you shift quite early, on the straights, compared to other sim racers. Feels like you might be leaving a bit of acceleration on the table.

    • @T30Drifts
      @T30Drifts  Год назад +1

      Fair question! 3/6 of my cars were manual, but I drive automatic at the moment.
      Some of my shifts are earlier to prevent the back end from kicking out, or spinning the tires. Sometimes I shift earlier when in a downhill section so that I am closer in the powerband of the high gears when the ground levels out.
      Another reason you might see me shift early- specifically in the 1960’s Formula cars- is because the 4th and 5th gear in the McLaren is quite short.
      I may be leaving some on the table, but for the most part I have reasons for why I shift when I do. Keep in mind I’m not an expert, so there will definitely be times when I am shifting inappropriately.
      Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope you enjoyed!
