Absolutely there’s not enough accountability for money in our government and states. They should required to show an itemized list of expenses. We have to provide details and receipts to the IRS to write things off. Yet they can print money and send it overseas and we never know what happened. The mayor and governor have too much power over the budgets. There should be oversight like real oversight and reviews of expenses. It’s the same as payers money they should have a say so. Especially when it comes to spending for schools, roads, bridges, expanding infrastructure etc. something should have been done decades ago. To deter members of government from laundering our money. Unacceptable
And the homeless dont get a dime of that money. Smh

Yeah, I noticed in the 90s that homelessness never got better in Minneapolis (my dad lived there) when a bunch of money got spent on homelessness. Some property owner that is losing money on a building and who has friends in government, will let them live in the building for a while as the government over pays him and other contractors/companies with friends in government. A bunch of people are getting paid a lot, and tax payers are being billed thousands of dollars a month per homeless person to make their lives slightly better than they were with no tax dollars spent on them.

I stayed at the shelter downtown by Harold Washington Library. I'm not an immigrant, I was born here, but they spend the bare minimum. Food is hardly edible, no ac, they don't help with much. Where is the money really going?
This is nothing new. This has happened for years with the money allocated for solving homelessness, with disabled vets, with breast cancer. It has become an industry that makes a LOT of money, and it's not going away anytime soon. They may rename the industry, but as long as the government is corrupt, that industry will stay in place.

Why you say 150,000 a month is to much? If you divide by the number of people (700) that's only $214 a month per person. That's way below what I pay for rent per month.
It’s 5-10 people more than likely in a 500-1000 sq ft space. So that’s anywhere from 1,000-2,500 or more per room. All these people are sellout devils involved in this mess. And it’s totally absurd what these corrupt democrat politicians are doing to the American people🤦🏾
