The logic of a new prince being born was kinda stupid.I mean what could he do lol? Hürrem defeated one of the most powerful Princes of the Ottoman Empire, and based on Fatma a new prince would end her ruling lol.But still nice drama.
@@EntertainmentFriend are you dumb or you’re joking? Of course it has something to do with what you said because I’m talking about the sultana that will born after this fake drama, and who should’ve been Mahidevran’s daughter. Why I am explaining to a stupid stranger on the internet 😮💨
I think the purpose was to weaken Hurrem's power and influence as Suleiman's by giving him a new love that had what Hurrem didn't; Youth, beauty and fertility.
I don't understand the drama over It ... Even if It was a boy so what? The other princes are already adults with politic experience, the time that baby will grow suleyman will be already death and one of the Princes Will be already on the Throne
The problem is that if the crowned prince becomes sultan, and does something wrong, the people, specific the janissaries, will try to force another prince on the throne. By the time selim took the throne, he had no living brothers. Any other royal princes are competion
But you have to remember in the Ottoman Empire all princes, previously born to the emperor before his death had equal right to kill each other to be the last one standing it is a well established ruling at that time that all princes had equal access regardless of their age to become the nextottoman emperor that’s the whole point of the drama. So Hurem was ready to kill any concubine who became Sultan’s favourite but when Mahidevran tried to do the same, she was labelled as a devil.
I know right? Even sulieman himself told her once that he knows how much she does but lets her get away with it

Haseki sultan prevents it after seeing how excited Suleiman is. She has all the power yet she always loves Suleiman.
Yeah....but Mahidevran was the baby murderer,no? They both commited the same mistakes, but sadly, only Mahidevran got caught.

This is 100% not true Suleiman used to have a daughter with Mahidevran named Raziye and she was married to Yahya Calijali

Yeah , I mean Selim would ascend and he or valide sultan would issue the fetwa to end that prince anyway

No one could argue on that
Yes so true if we love a person so much.... automatically patience and tollerance increases will start to accept anything for them
