Thank you so much for this video! I actually have this exact setup for hardware and software, and I was just considering buying a 3Dio. Would you say that the XLR version has an advantage over the regular 3.5mm version? I'm trying to see if maybe the higher-priced model might be worth the cost.
Hey there I recently got the 3 Dio with 3.5 jack and today got the scarlett recommended, Is there a way to hook it into my goxlr to make for much easier change up of mics? I know the scarlet has a usb to pc but goxlr is XLR for mics
I have another question, I have the set up you have, 3dio Fs, Presonus, same Daw, etc. But I also have a Dbx 286, is there a way to include it in the set up too?
Yes, it will work with any DAW. Regarding the connectivity, we recommend checking the Tascam specs. Some digital recorders can double as a 2-channel audio interface. If your Tascam model has this feature and it accepts a stereo, external mic input, then it should be compatible.
He made something that is probably is majorly complicated seem so simple and straightforward. Thank you.
Thank you so much! This was very helpful!
So yall recommend an interface or just a audio recorder such as tascam? Whats easier or better

It's a higher quality via XLR.
Can I use the 3Dio with Rodecaster Pro? I have not seen anyone on the internet connect 3Dio and Rodecaster Pro yet.
Great video!

Can I connect my 3dio to my iPad Pro? If I’m using my iPad Pro for recording/camera.. can I do that?
So i have purchased the PreSonus Audiobox USB 96, but only input 1 seems to be working, so only one ear works. Is there a way to fix this?
Can you connect the 3dio to a tascam and then into audacity?

I thought you just plug it in to a PC and connect it as a microphone
can i use it with audacity?
Yes, it will work with any DAW. You must have 2-channel (or more) audio interface to convert the analog signal into a digital signal.
