If I had to guess, I’d say you’re thinking about coaching triathletes! Your videos are full of wisdom and inspiration, so I can easily see you doing something like that. Either way, I hope you continue the RUclips videos. Always good to hear from you!
Sorry to hear about Florida that sucks, excited to hear about the project when it’s ready for the light of day. Do they alternate full/1/2 Ironman in Cordelane every other year?
This specific video was my phone (for some reason I don't remember) but every other video is a Sony A7iii or Riv for camera (love them both) paired with a Rode NTG4+ (eh, it's fine, wouldn't buy it again.)
Really sorry to hear this. Its incredible how many people are still dismissive of Covid and either don't believe its real or believe that we shouldn't keep up vaccination programmes. Really wishing you all the best for full recovery.
Too bad about your crummy experience with Covid. It seems some get over it in a week, but for others their athletic performance takes months to recover. Hope you are able to get back to your training for Ironman Coeur d'Alene very soon. And like others commenting here, I can't wait to see your next project.
That was my wife! I'm normally healthier than her in general, but she was over it in just a day or two, and it broke me. So strange. And thanks, working hard on it! :)
Bummer, similar situation for me, got Covid 2 days before my first sprint attempt on 7/31…. Bed ridden for a week, winded for a month, maybe six weeks before felt normal running again. Started building again finally but a bit too late for marathon season for PR goals.
I love your commitment to the Florida race. Participants will be happy to have some good photographs documenting the raceday to relive the experience later on. Too bad though that it's still a struggle to get back to race-level fitness. Take care and patience building towards the June '23 event! Would love to see something about the furniture making. Maybe that's a hint to what is about to come? Don't know, but curiosity is there.
I got covid all the way back in March and I swear my HR still runs 10-15 beats higher whenever I start doing anything. Take care of yourself and your family and can't wait to see what's next for you!
I'll be volunteering at bike check in from 1:30-7 on Friday if you want to say hey. :)
I wish you get 100 % and strong asap, man. All the best!
Thanks, on it!

Not coaching. :) But I appreciate the vote of confidence!
Hope you feel better and can't wait to see your next project.
Thank you!
This is exactly how I feel after Covid 3-4 weeks ago. Looking forward to learning more about this secret project!
:( Bummer, sorry to hear. Check your FB messages. :)

Indeed, not ideal, but that's life. It's fun because it's challenging. :) CDA is on a weird 3 year cycle. Half/half/full.
Which camera and mic and you using

Indeed, it's really crappy.
Crappy luck. I hope you recover soon! I got COVID in New York after IM Lake Placid. I still haven’t felt like running since then.
Feel better man! You should totally come down for Cda! nice to hang out again

Ughhhh sorry to hear that. It's very frustrating, I know. :(

Oops, @justindoestriathlon there's someone pretending to be you. Reported it already.
Sorry to hear that, Justin. I’ll be sure to say hello if I see you out there volunteering. Love your content.
Hope you have a great race! Definitely say hey if you see me. I'll be doing bike checkin after 1:30 on Friday. :)

I've definitely heard that's a thing, I have no doubt. I don't think my already high HR can handle another 15! And thanks!
Ahh man, that sucks! Hope you feel better. Your content is some of my favorite period but especialy in tri space. Looking forward to what you put out
I appreciate that!
Always bet on yourself! Wishing you continued health and recovery! Looking forward to any IM Florida content you can share.
Agreed! I'll be there making a ton! :D
I went through the same thing after my COVID diagnosis. Give yourself time to heal. Feel better soon!
Hope you're doing better 🙂
